I was more paranoid than this. I crawled everywhere! And only headshots with the rifle. You’ll never run out of ammo if you crawl by the dead people you kill getting ammo pouches.

You did not have to face the tank roaming around the perimeter.. i don't know why.. maybe you have set it on easy level. Anyways you can place dynamites on the tank's path and blow it up ;)
