The old instant action was so much better than 2015s 2017/18 (battlefront 2) though is tough. I think the old one has more chaos while the new one you can play as any hero (from the respective side) at any time rather than waiting like half way into the game to be a hero character

I googled instant action mod and it seems noone has really tried to make it happen. I don't really blame them, more people prefer modding 2 since it's more popular, But personally I think more of us prefer 2015 over 2, at least I do.

The AI difficulty is cooked in Skirmish. The AI is extremely stupid at normal, and hyper aggressive and accurate at hard, and I don't even want to imagine what the highest difficulty is like

Honestly not that different, on console if you jump around a lot even master difficulty ai have trouble aiming at you and at medium to long range they arent as good as players imo

In terms of Splitscreen, 2015 Battlefront is wayyyy better, you can only play team deathmatch with teams of 10 on maps that are way too large for teams of 10, or onslaught, but who plays onslaught?

Honestly, lots of problems with lack of stuff to do offline or on LAN but at least 2015 had splitscreen, it took EA like 2-3 years just to add offline play and online coop to 2
