Oh my goodness does that soundtrack bring me back. Ultimate Spider-Man and both Battlefronts were my favorite games back in the PS2 days.

Whoah, this is looking great! Really excited to see what more you do with it! Curious how you've implemented the web swinging mechanic (is it implemented as a jet animation/effect, a weapon+ordnance, or does it use Lua?) Also curious what the total polycount of all the city's models are. By the way, let me know if you want any HUD work done for this!

The swinging (and all other animations) are created with one .combo file. The visible net is part of the character and is animated. The total polycount (excluding units, vehicles, some props) is around 1 million triangles (+/- a few K's. I am not yet focusing on a HUD yet since gameplay (and Visuals+Sounds) are in top priority. Also I'll likely release this map/mod in about a week and continue working on 3Legacy.

Very cool! But I question what inspired you to make it on Battlefront 2 2005.

There are a couple reasons: -It's the only game/engine I know hot to work on/use to make different mods -I wanted a GTA themed map for quite a few years and due to its size and variety I thought it'd be an interesting concept to get something game off working, as seen above -Testing out how far you can go with such an old engine
