Battlegroup Rules Book

A quick look at the WWII "Battlegroup" Wargames Rules Book.
Published by Iron Fist Publishing, these rules are designed for WWII players using 15mm and 20mm figures.
This isn't a review of the rules, merely a look at the contents of the rule book.

I don't play 20mm, but if I did this rules set looks like the one I would choose. Interested to hear your thoughts after a few plays. A battle report would be great! At this point I strictly play Bolt Action in 28mm.

As a newbie looking at 20mm wargames I've been leaning towards Chain of Command, but I'll definitely be checking this out now.

I've very much got my eye on this game. Would you say it's a lot more tactical and in depth over Flames of War. I enjoyed FoW but to me the missions with objectives make no military sense to me and is more geared for cheesedick tourney play which I detest.

I can't compare it to Flames of War as I've never seen those rules. It's certainly a bit more in depth than Bolt Action but I don't get to play it as nobody in my wargames circle plays Battlegroup, so it's just a thing I look at on my own occasionally.

Good book review. I thinking more to 6mm due to space and cost when I can afford it and have time to assembly and paint. I have 15mm flames of WAR.

The books definitely look good. Bought a couple of Lost Ark when they have had them in stock. Haven't managed a game yet though - having based for Flames of War years ago I need to do some rebasing. I reckon Steve would be interested in playing as well

I could field a Russian & German 15mm tank army but don't have any 15mm infantry painted up yet, another thing on the to do list!
