I completely disagree, I think it clogs up the units and is problematic for the battle especially those little ditches dotted throughout the map that units get stuck in. A map with too many little traps for units which makes large scale battles derpy, worst map for a large scale battle. I agree with you if the battle is on a smaller scale with less units.

I like the firebase map. Always gives a nice mix up for the armies. Pitched battles on open plains aren't intersting. The one with the valleys also good. Well done!
