Bought the Fantasy Village and it is great, brilliant value for money. You do need to be careful though, you can be as gentle as possible and things seem solid and then suddenly give way. It happend to me for the small roof over the Tavern entrance and for the Cottage chimney. Luckily it creased in areas you can't see. My biggest compliment would be that the floors don't attach, it can get annoying. Also some of the internal furniture doesn't seem to line up with the holes on the walls, so you just need to let it sit free. I managed to get the tables to attach on the lower floor of the Tavern after rearranging some of the walls but the beds are just floating about on the upper floor. I also bought the Roads and Rivers set and unlike the Village I feel it's poor value for money, very over priced at £17. They need to either halve the price or double the contents of the pack. I've also order one of the large 3x3 gaming mats but still waiting for it to arrive. It looks nice in the pics but I wish there was a grided version for D&D combat.

Can't attach the upper floor or the apex onwards now.
@Battlesystems3 жыл бұрын
Most likely you've used too many clips on your early builds, for example using two clips when one would work, clipping the floors to the walls etc. You'd be surprised how stingy you can be with clips and it still works. The clip packs are generic so any that you don't recognise are for different sets (for example the giraffe clip is used only for elevators in our sci-fi kits).
@Aftonrhodes3 жыл бұрын
@@Battlesystems hi, thanks for the reply. I have followed the videos and copied which clips were used in those. The only one I used clips to attach the floor was the thatched cottage. My other buildings have loose floors. May I check, how many L clips are supposed to come with fantasy village set? I can count them and check then. Failing that, I will have a go at glueing. Would you recommend hot glue or pva/tacky or superglue?
@Battlesystems3 жыл бұрын
@@Aftonrhodes So, officially there's 92 clips which is a bit vague so I opened up my own set and counted 40 L clips. The clips come in little bags that are packed in the factory, it's possible that you might have not got all of the bags (for example there's one little bag with 8 L clips in it). If you're short then drop Stew a line a customerservice@battlesystems.co.uk and he'll arrange to send you some extra clips. Other than that you can cannibalise other clips (Ts can be cut into Ls). fair warning: the product is worst then this tutorial is to articulate: most of my notches are cut wrong across multiple sets, those that aren't mispalced are either tight or loose with the latter occurence beign worst because the clips will sway and not hold the shape properly. The caurdboard is flimsy af i expected them to be 5mm instead it is but a couple making the slightest wrong move result in catastrophic damage (bends, rips , tears), even the print easily comes off. in summary an overpriced heap of junk if wargaming is wht you are after (clever paper stuff is much better for that pourpose) but if you are looking for paper models then they are but "OK"

Not fast forward through the actual setup! What are you guys thinking?! And no overview of 'ok, here we'll be putting a t-clip on the right side, and one on the front, the rest will be l-clips, totaling 4'!
