21st Centauri Lancers Commander Ben would be my worst fear as an opposing combatant. No matter how many heads are removed, he smiles and is happy for my efforts. Never breaks down and shows that the battle might be going against him! Great job. Cool interaction between combatant commanders. Make it a campaign!

@@mathewkelly9968 In this game, the 21st Centauri Lancers force has a GHR-8K, likely captured from a battle against House Kurita (given the fact that the 8K uses Endo Steel and isn't just a refit). If you're referring to the GHR-5J "upgrade" showcased in TRO: 3050, that refit was pioneered by the 21st Centauri Lancers whom were famous for the amount of Grasshoppers found in their battlemech formations. The 5J is just terrible in every respect, decreasing firepower by 30% in order to mount an AMS. However, it should be noted that Inferno ammunition was in vogue at the time and the Streak SRM-2 was one of the few systems that could utilize it.

That was a crazy game. I loved the witty comments throughout and I laughed when you mentioned Clan Wolf was ordering paint from Amazon. Made me wonder what the Prime interstellar delivery time would be. Anyway, I think it would be cool to turn this into a short campaign. Ben is a great addition to the channel. Thanks guys.

These PPC Capacitors are rough, I might have to look into using them on some of Master Po's forces. 7 damage on a TIC? *chef's kiss* Yes, the House Master likes his cheese! I've painted up a Regent A as the new OpFor for Master Po to see if anything cheesy can blow through his plot armor. Also +1 for a GI Joe reference!

Ejection in Override has come up in our campaign and we just ended up using the standard Override 8+ for clean ejection, then eyeball the margin of failure it doesn't succeed, like 6-7 could be minor injuries, 4-5 is major/career-threatening injuries, and 2-3 is "They dead Jim." Kind of a GM call, really, and also adding factors like whether the mech was just cored, blew the reactor, or blew the ammo.

Check out Hardware Studios, Thunderhead Studio and the Lazy Forger. The last one has some very detailed - but very very fragile - terrain. The first two are more BattleTech-y and table top friendly.

Thanks Mike! I like Deep-Cut, PWork and FLG… I would say the majority are Deep-Cut, though this one was from PWork. FLG (Frontline Gaming) has really expanded their line over the last few years so great options there and they are in the US 🇺🇸

Thanks - appreciate that! The roads are from gcmini.com… they are the 6mm acrylic ones. I sprayed them gray and did some weathering. They make stencil kits and I just sponged on the dotted lines!

If you play Gaslands, the rules say you can only shoot when you move (when its your movement phase. it a silly rule that was done for marketing purposes to make the game different than its competitor 40k. Just allow shooting every phase, even if you are not moving. There is a tank vehicle in Gaslands and there are rules for lasers and rockets.

@@DeathfromAboveWargaming you can buy an entire 'army' of cars at the dollar store for well $1 each and they are painted really good lol, i wish i could buy mechs like hotwheel cars, the rules needed a work over and i did that based off of what the game designer talked about but never really did for the game. i think as it the game rules will work for tanks and big stuff like that because they are less dynamic than a car that can drift and go really fast
