My brother and I 100% pronounced it "eye-eye-C" when we played MechWarrior 2 as kids. Not sure when we switched. Casting quality on mine looked good. Maybe a little loss of detail on the fronts and backs of the Griffin IIC's pauldrons, but the details were still visible after painting and a wash.

Pro tip for Clanner cadets, if you ask to pilot a Jenner IIC it also doubles as a one room apartment.

Loved the unboxing. And with the Black Python, you're missing something. If you base your minis with flocking, you'll never notice the foot peg. :)

Sorry to hear you are having issues with getting a refund Mr. Aaron. That really sucks. I've seen a lot of complaints about this kickstarter, and unfortunately a lot of the criticism seems deserved. I backed the kickstarter just to get the clan refits and almost didn't back it at all. Ironically, I backed in like the last 2 hrs or so before the kickstarter ended but I feel like I was one of the first people to get my shipment. Hope things will work out for you. Cheers sir.

It's a bit light for my taste, but goddamn is the Black Python is lethal as all hell. And looks sleek and lethal too, much better than the Champion. And the Shadowhawk IIC is such a change from the Shadowhawk.

I feel that for the shipping costs issues. I was way overcharged, and they gave me $80 store credit... A complete joke, their shipping from their store is already disgustingly high. Great review though, happy you are finally getting your order. Looking forward to seeing all the next ones!

Those IIC designs aren’t Omni and usually have standard fusion engines. It keeps them cost efficient.

I actually went way harder on the paint job for my White Raven than any other mini in the kickstarter. The Jenner looks great in DCMS colors, too.

Got my KS back in October and yes, the casting on the Shadow Hawk IIC (two-cee?) is a bit dodgy. Lots of mold lines to clean up on mine. Not so much on the others tho. Also, check out the TRO ilClan Rec. Guide on the Black Python, some good details in there about why the mech looks like a plane. Originally it was designed to be an aerospace fighter and was won thru a trial by the Steel Vipers and converted to a mech. The Ravens eventually get the design back in their production lines and rename it the White Raven. My rank: 1. Black Python 2. Griffin IIC 3. Locust IIC, 4. Shadow Hawk IIC (without the mold issues) 5. Jenner IIC, (never liked the look of this mech and still don't).

I think your box may have seen some heat in transit, which would explain some of the "knee knock". Great box. Like almost all the mechs in it, especially the Shadow Hawk IIC and Black Python. Only the Jenner IIC sucks lol (me and my boyz hate Jenners lol don't take too seriously 😂)
