Dude that blue is wonderful, that lovely muted kind of grey-blue that looks so at home on a giant warmachine. And those edge highlights are so crisp, man I wish I could paint like that.

You 100% can do this, I promise! Little air brush work, some dry brushing, and targeted edge highlights. Nothing I do is magic, as Bob Ross would say "Talent is a pursued interest, anything you are willing to practice you can do."

I must say I am always amazed by the work you put out, the super smooth transitions of colour with the hard accents of the crisp edges looks great time and time again. But my most liked videos are your ones where you touched on the fear and anxiety of hobbying. I often find myself getting painting paralysis because I don't like the direction a paint job can result in and it instantly kills my motivation to paint anymore, so hearing you talk about those issues was a great comfort to be able to relate too. I often joke with my friends how I am pessimistic perfectionist when it comes to my painting, but I do keep trying to pick up the brush, motivated and inspired in no small part by posts and videos such as yours. I know I am capable in a lot of cases of painting better than I typically give myself credit for when I actually put my mind to it, and get off of my own back instead of constantly agonising over things not turning out how I pictured them in my head. And to that, being a part of a community of both similarly minded and incredibly talented people has been a big boon for both my confidence and skill with painting.

Goodness me, that blue is super nice! Can’t wait to see the yellow on that. I’d love to have his command lance painted up that way. Simply a gorgeous job sir. I appreciate your fade style of painting, can’t say I’ve seen it very often in the btech space. Keep us updated! It’s a blast following these projects. Though thanks to you I now have a whole company of dragoons lol.

My wife’s late father absolutely adored them back in the og days. Lot’s of old metal Alpha battalion mini’s in the house. Had to pick up the mantle and keep that trend going! Though admittedly I went with black widow battalion.

Wonderful job with the painting so far, Justin. As for my projects, I'm currently working on some Wolfs Dragoons and Kell Hounds myself. Just waiting for a couple things beforehand. As for commission work, I'd love to commission you, but only if you're up for it. Either way, keep up the good work 👏
