Soul really loves knife fights and donating his mech parts to the scrapyard.

What? and sit in the back line and lob indirect fire from relative safety? Pssssshh :p

@soulstrumlp9517 I was expecting for big bucks from Solaris fights. But you wanted to keep your mechtechs employed with great salaries. I commend that. Kek

Yikes. When the wheels come off, they come ALL the way off, don't they? What a goat rope. I think the AI allies were all lemmings with the way they ran around in the airstrike zones. Does anyone else think that, sometimes, some mechs are just cursed? You get them all polished up and the AI ignores everything else to wail on them like a 7 year old on a piñata. No reason other than they are there, like the Supernova, or the Jess. You know, I agree with Endless, I would store the beaten up Jag and build the parted Timby out. Didn't you have a couple of HA20s from Moltke that you could put to use, or do I remember some HA30s in storage? You could create a kill team of the other Jag, the Timby and the Savage Wolf with the jag carrying a nark and a tagger as a back stabber, the savage wolf as the lancer and the timby as the long-arm. Happy Holidays Soul, and also to all the others on the channel.

Happy Holidays to you as well! We do have two HA20's on the Moltke that we're going to repurpose to the Mk II 7 Mad Cat - unfortunately we've only got one 30 in storage and the 40's on the MAD II aren't really seeing much use since it's always either sitting off-mission or spending weeks in the repair bay. There will be an overhaul episode after the holidays - we just gotta get some fat stacks first to balance it out lol

The SN looks like it got hit by ASS-HAT instead of the Jag, & despite that damage I would say by comparison the Jag was far more protected by stealth, so if you were to retire it, pass that stealth- X along to someone else in need like the SN.

Well that was a holy Roman cluster [quack]. I'm going to suggest you don't go full cash, ever again. Bad luck.

Wildly bad luck. The accuracy of that SRM Carrier at that range was impressive - same with that bloody AC 20 >

I think Solaris battles would be good for the Saturday stream. I'll type using my best Duncan Fisher impersonation.

Forward - Yes, I understand that RT is supposed to be a harder experience I am continually disheartened by how dumb player allies are even outside of the training day event. If you call an airstrike on the opfor or place a plate on the opfor, they will actively make a decision about risk reward, but it SEEMS that any ally you get actively avoids this thought process. As such, I actively avoid a lot of cool sounding missions not because they will be hard, but because I know, my allies will be a hinderance with artificially inflated requirements. Hell, the last mission I took with allies, a blackjack ally decided to charge a flamer tank on the other side of the map... the tank had BA on it. I shut down the pc for the day and picked up a good book.

I'll add one more to the table - super heavy base defense missions. I know they upped building health in LaL but in HHR it was next to impossible unless you were kitted out and super aggressive or else the insane weapon loadouts on the super heavies would just level your base - or the limitations of 4 buildings remain, 3 must survive >< But that's one good thing about the RogueTech modding team - they do listen to feedback and do try to make the ridiculous a little less. I'm hoping their new update next year does at least address the ally AI - at least to the point where it's on par with the enemy AI for situational awareness.

I don't understand why they keep walking into the kill zone. If it was artillery, (and the OPFOR), they'd be making a beeline for the perimeter.

The threat assessment for allies seems to be a bit lacking
@EndlessInfinity123 күн бұрын
And that's why I could never play with the cheater AI pilots, lol. Ultra 20 on one of the ebon jags since they're still speedy enough? Only need one and some lasers in the same range bracket. Would it be cheaper to bench/sell the wounded jag and replace it with the storage timby since the latter is an Omni?
@soulstrumlp951719 күн бұрын
With the Jag we only really lost ammo, tag, and optics. If we don't have any in spare we'll look into overhauling, without the ammo she can't run the SRMs
@EndlessInfinity119 күн бұрын
@soulstrumlp9517 oh! I was thinking in terms of replacing the destroyed limbs - because they're omnis with all the engine stuff built in, would it be cheaper in days and cbills to just transfer the parts over?

IDK if it's just Rogue-tech? But Atlas' are not as intimidating as they should be, & having a line of them staring at you should cause a panic attack.
@soulstrumlp951716 күн бұрын
Probably the first time you run into an Atlas in a run is the most terrifying - chances are your firepower is limited. But I'll agree - they're supposed to be the apex of Assaults but they're just so full of juicy explody bits that as soon as you crack a torso you're flipping a coin for an explosion.

@@soulstrumlp9517 I wish I was a programmer I'd fix RT(especially the AI, they'll move when artillery circle pops up, but not when bombing run flairs are placed 😐), & keep it fun.
