Tough introduction, but that loot table... & Those IATMs I think belong on the Zeus paired off with a couple of Lights PPCs with attachments so you get max damage with minimum tonnage, plus if they don't lock, the EMC damage may buy you some time.

Glad to see the long tom lives. That battle sucked, but you pulled it out while surrounded and the enemy had the high ground. Great call on the smoke and perfect deployment strategy. The enemy has a hard time killing what they cannot see. If only the long tom could have had one more turn that Lance on top of the mountain would have had a worse day.

Agreed. I considered using smoke offensively, but it really helped how you used it. Glad that mech with the 4 er ppcs was plinking at buildings and not you!

Only thing different I would have done, would to drop that smoke on the lance up top. As proven at the end, they would have had to move a lot to see you to shoot you, so maybe the accuracy penalty would have helped save some buildings too. That bonus for saving all would have helped.

Saving the buildings was a luxury we unfortunately didn't have - if we had pushed the lance to the ledge they would have had insane accuracy bonuses against us, plus our backs as we struggled to fend off attacks from three sides. Yes absolutely the bonus would've been nice, but I'll take keeping the machines in one piece over a few extra C-Bills any day :p

@soulstrumlp9517 Watching this episode I wondered if it would be a loss, but you pulled it off with a minor loss. I wasn't implying that you messed up, I was saying you created nothing short of a miracle. Losses are inevitable, if anyone doesn't accept that they're delusional. I wasn't downplaying what you were able to achieve in that battle, just playing "what if". You found yourself in a similar situation to the 308th infantry Regiment on October 2nd, 1918 and fared far better than they did. All I was saying was "if" that barrage had not taken out the long tom, imagine the possibilities.

@@soulstrumlp9517 Fair enough. My thought was that it would have taken them a few rounds to get in position to fire directly at you, by which point you would have been turned to face it anyways (following how you positioned in the following rounds). And with it placed in front of them to just catch them and the front of the ridge, they would have had issues. It all worked out in the end, so no matter I guess. Was a solid job escaping that trap, I thought you were toast for a moment there.

Abiut the only thing different i would have dein for loot, is left the gyro to yrab the clan xl. Not for money, but because you need ine for the battlemaster

Yeah that was kind of the hard choice - I was hoping there'd be an increased chance for a random drop, but hey with us being back fighting clanners there's always next time.
