5:30 I was at the edge of my chair the whole time, yelling like a football hooligan "You can DO IT!!". Even though the man made mistakes, he didn't give up and actually in the end got it through like a champ. Best battletoads run I have seen in a long time! ^_^ Thank you!

30 years. I’ve been trying to get through the turbo tunnel for 30 years. TMR did it blind-folded. I’ve even slowed the game down to 1/4 speed on an emulator and couldn’t beat it. I’m truly a Battletoads failure.

Slowing the game down actually makes the Turbo Tunnel impossible to beat. It was designed to be played at normal speed, and any other speed will just break the mechanics. Displaced Gamers has a video on the subject.

Blindfolded Turbo Tunnel, is really interesting to see how it can be a trainwreck even for a veteran like The Mexican Runner, but have someone done Volkmyre's Inferno blindfolded... well, it may be harder in the fireball section because it's extremely randomized, and the missiles section too (but this one is easier as long as you don't play the Rare Replay revision or the bug fix hacks because those took care of the safespot at the down part of the screen for the missiles that comes from bellow).
