Oh, I remember having fun with this game when I was young. Although, it's a shame that the gameplay strategy of all these bosses were mostly the same. Keep ramming them until they die or until you get that rare chance to super kick them. They would've been fun if they at least tried to be different or weren't cheap to the point where you'd need to be cheap right back.

Abobo- The big black guy you don’t wanna be alone with in the prison shower. Big Blag- The result of New York cutting back on it’s sewer rat control budget. Roper- 2nd Amendment enthusiast. Beats off to Rambo movies. Skips leg day. Rat Ship Colossus- Why not? General Slaughter- Just your garden variety pissed off anthropomorphic rhinoceros who only made it to mini boss status. Robo Manus- 6 million dollar man if the doctors were high AF and spent most of the budget on weed. Shadow Boss- Lord Humongous, the later years. Now with spike ball mode action! The Dark Queen- Generic title for an evil fireball throwing dominatrix heartthrob, but who cares? Shes hot. Right?

Woah woah woah. The heavy, bassy sound effects from the NES you hear when the toads give you the boot aren't in this? How did that happen? That sound was very effective and satisfying.

I remember after beating that space ship( I was trying so hard! It was most difficult), I celebrated so much and I didn't press any buttons for two seconds to go forward ( after every boss fight u need to confirm in twenty seconds that you continue to play) and I had to start over again

I'd say the NES version was better, the port had some really stiff & choppy controls and while the remixed tracks were good (though not as upbeat as thye originals), it was a shame that the boss tracks were cut out entirely. You should totally do the original version as well, I'm sure you'd do an awesome job ^^

+Johnny Casey I don't know which is more amusing, that you're ranting about an over year old comment, or that you're blowing it out of proportion like this XD Do your parents know you're using their computer for this kind of stuff? All ports of Battletoads & Double Dragon were done at the same time, Doom 4 and Wolfenstain 3D are two decades apart. A comparison that is really making you look like a 10 -year old who just wants attention XD D Plus, whether you like it or not, both the SNES and Genesis versions, while having better graphics and technically better sound, didn't play as well as the NES version which worked much smoother, had worse controls than the 8-bit version, and the music did indeed sound better. You'd best yap about games you never played kiddo XD

All I said was genesis and snes version have better graphics and better sound, because those are 16 bit game. Even though three games are came out in almost same years(I don't know exactly), there was certainly difference called 'technical issue' between them. Like you can't put full motion video in nes. You can never out run that. It's not a matter of years or something. And did you ever read my comment? Did I ever said snes and genesis versions are bad or worse than nes? I just said those games obivously have better graphics and sound. So why did you metion about control and crap? As if I don't know jack sh*t. Also, do I look like a child? For one, Jaguar had 64-bits, by your logic that would mean that 64-bit Jaguar games are better than 16-bit NES ones? Second, neither SNES nor Genesis were able to run full motion video, that came with Sega CD which is an uphgrade to the Genesis, just shows how little you know and does make you look like a child. Third, I brought up controls because it's a vital point of which game is better, graphics and sound don't mean jack shit if the controls are choppy. Again, your frail grasp on the subject only makes you look more and more like a child XD But an amusing one nonetheless, it's been a while since I had a clown like you entertain me, so please do continue XD

Just found out today that you can use homing missiles in the space stage by hooding down the B button (but I think holding it for too long destroys your ship)

I use to own this game when i was young. there is a way to kill the bosses instantly. not sure if it's a clitch with the finisher mechanic, but I've ran through bosses exploiting it.

Релиз на nes был куда сложней в прохождении, чем на snes. Например, предпоследний босс двигался по одной линии с гг, т.е. нельзя было уйти от него вверх или вниз. А это выглядит как лайт-версия хардкорной игры, которую далеко не все могут осилить

Лично мне , эта версия игры не понравилась , потому что : 1.Музыка изменена , а на боссах музыка вообще не меняется; 2.Крыса получилась очень большой , как и все боссы; 3.Ропер стал намного легче; 4.Раньше было опасно , когда Босс теней становился ежом , сейчас можно просто перепрыгнуть. 5.И то , что мне больше всего нравилось в детстве, это летящие частицы от врагов , когда их бьют

In the SpaceShip Boss you can push the shoot button to put a lock-on signal and shoot missiles to the Spaceship, is easier to beat it.
