Oh wow I didn't know the Sega version was different! How could they not have the best part?! Thank god you put it back in that riff was the closest to getting to listen to the first stage of Battletoads Arcade at home as a kid. It's kinda of a reverse version of it.

Yeah in each console version the music is different from each other. Essentialy with this cover I treid to combine the overall style of the Genesis version with some of the melodic elements of the SNES version

Thank you. Indeed it does take a lot of trial and error to get a good guitar tone. A good rule of thumb when dailing in a guitar tone is to not over saturate the gain and add a decent amount of mids to help cut through the mix
