I've been playing this all day. Really fun gameplay, really pretty and colourful to look at, the music is awesome but the best thing about the game is the cutscenes. The casting is great and the toads are so funny. They should have their own cartoon on TV.

@Anonym User Um, Idk if that was a typo you made about the timing of that interview, but if that interview was made BEFORE the making of the Battletoads game doesn't that mean it's more likely a Banjo game could be made? If they made Battletoads and then had an interview where they said no other old IP's, then it would be all doom and gloom for Banjo.

@@misterchief3338 based on the trailer, the game looks slow, haven't seen the double tap run animation yet. we've seen a hop dash, like every game before this one. the walking animation seems heavy like walking through a pool of mud. before it was fast and snappy, required for a hoard of rats(arcade version) coming at you at the same time. speaking of enemies, the trailer shows them to be slow as well

Ryuya Sho The game is a pretty good beat em up. If you have Xbox Game Pass it’s free. I recommend it admittedly. It’s not perfect but it’s at least a 7 out of ten. I’d argue even an 8.

I played Battletoads ( 90s) just now on an emulator , after that time I became a fan of Battletoads. Believe me, it has become my favorite game A 90s game has beaten gta 5 , wd2 , witcher 3, cod etc in my mind. Keep the Battletoads series updating forever. I really regret thinking this game would be bad. It was amazing. I actually really began to like the artstyle and character designs, and the animation fits perfectly with the mood of the game. I do wish that there was more beat em up gameplay near the end (act 3 is all Minigames) But apart from that, This game is a challenging yet exciting and humorous experience, exactly what you would expect from Rare.
