Battlezone - All Cutscenes and Pre-Mission Dialog

One of the- if not the greatest game of all time.
As much as i looked, i couldn't find an upload quite like this so i made it myself.
I also included the installation scene, the opening movie and the ending movie.
All of which, despite my most sincerest efforts, i could not record myself so i had to "borrow" these from some fellow youtubers. I also cleaned up some audio in the credits.
At the time of release, Battlezone was developed and published by Activision. I'm not sure who owns the rights to this IP today but if i had to take a guess then it belongs to either Stainless games or Atari Inc. So whoever owns all of this. Know that this was created for public entertainment and i am making no money off of this.

Escape from Mars, where you have to race to the soviet launch pad before time runs out? But in the mission before that you have to use the "I" to inspect the structures inside the volcano. In fact in the same mission you have to use it to identify the Hephaestus ship.

My first touch with this game was the N64 version of 2000 which include the Black Dogs Campaign, i was 10 when i played the game for the first time and i still have my Cartridge, i see reviews considering this a Sub par game but mixing FPS with 3rd person and RTS and seeing it work is amazing to me.

Why do I not recognize this opening cinematic with the dialog and Saturn V launch?

It played over the game installation for the orgional 1998 game. So if your PC could install quickly or you’ve only played the Redux version on steam, you would not have seen it.

@@Bronasaxon I just never installed it myself. That'd be why. Battlezone, Heavy Gear, Warcraft II (with expansion), Turok Dinsoaur Hunter (maybe) all came with my dad's Windows 98, and I was playing on it in the early 2000's. On the CDs it would say something like "part of bundle, not to be sold separately."

I always wondered why the two high ranking dudes were shot. Obviously they found bio-metal in those meteors. Were they key personnel in military research for bio-metal? Always found it interesting.

They wanted to go public, share it for mankind etc, right at the height of the cold war. There's allegedly been lots of people who died for that same reason, people with lots of knowledge who died under weird circumstances just as major events were taking place related to their field. Most of the JFK theories are based on him wanting to de-escalate the cold war, pull out of Vietnam, possibly co-operate in space research and bring the Federal Reserve back under government oversight (it's not a government department, it's a private organisation piggybacking on confusing branding just like Federal Express)

You can get it. It was remastered. Battlezone 98 Redux. You can get it on GoG, Steam, etc. Unless there's something else preventing you from getting it.

Weird. Why is there such a big gap between when the dialog ends and the rocket launches? I wonder if the game just waits for the player to hit a button or something before just continuing by default. :/

The music in the background didnt finish it's cycle. Activision probably wasnt anticipating today's computers to reinstall this game, most likely taking no time at all.
