Each time you upload a video, I wait for the perfect time to watch it (I waited 2 days this time to not rush it and find a moment when my brain is not in speed mode), I set up a cozy space, I make a cup of coffee... it's the most relaxing time of my week :))

I don't know if this is exactly a tip but I found my way out or sedentarism 2 years ago when I found a sport I like. Before I tried all kinds of discipline hacks for gym, apps, etc. Nothing would ever work for more than a month or a few... But when I found something I love... going to my trainings is not a struggle. I slowly increased frequency, now I have 6 practices a week. My body changed a lot I and I love when it's time to go training. Now I train because I can't wait to nail the next movement, learn the next sequence I can do, see my body do more acrobatic things. That saved me from depression, lower back pain and so much more...

Hi Maisy! I relate to many things you mentioned. For the eye strain and dark room in winter, it's very helpful to buy good strong lightbulbs, maybe on a headlight or some standing light, basically to give your room enough light that imitates natural light. Good luck!

One thing that helps me with eye issues is not being too reliant on wearing glasses all the time. There was a time when my eyes would hurt so much if I didn't wear glasses but since I started taking them off for at least one hour a day when I was chilling, taking the dog out for a walk in the morning, or doing chores around the house; I'd say it has helped me immensely. However, I know my issue is with light hence I take precautions not to irritate them as much.
@amydella879511 ай бұрын
That’s not actually helping your eyes - your eyes are straining when not wearing glasses which results in worse eyesight. It’s a mental thing as well of getting used to not needing to strain to see. Definitely ask your optician but I’ve been told that not wearing your glasses does more harm than good
@rickkimotho11 ай бұрын
@@amydella8795 Hence why, I added a disclaimer that I know my issue is with light. I gave specific use cases where sunlight is not too much. This is specific to me since mine are not reading or distance glasses. I have talked to my optician, and they're actually the ones who recommended it to me since those issues only began when I started wearing glasses. Also, for the mental thing, I'm not denying it may be a contributing factor, but my prescription has actually decreased since then. Disclaimer for those reading this: talk to your optician first for more insight on what suits you.

Eye movements also help to wake me up, like when looking left, right, up, and down I feel the tension in my eye muscles relax a bit. Hours after hours in the office can really do damage on even the smallest of our muscles and I never realize it until others point it out!

For the pain in your left wrist you need to tilt your keyboard clockwise (10 to 30 degrees angle) so that your wrists don't strain. Normally when playing FPS games we tend to keep our left hand at all times on the WASD keys so tilting the keyboard really helps the wrists.

IMO, the best way to heat up pizza - heat it up in the toaster oven just a bit and then transfer it to a cast iron skillet that's been heating up. It makes the bottom crust really nice and crispy and almost like it's fresh.

I want a more ergonomic chair so badly, but they all have wheels! My (pre-war building) floor is slanted where the chair will always roll across the room away from the desk. I have a chair from wayfair that’s so-so, but it has flat castors on the bottom instead of wheels!! I wish more ergonomic focused companies would add that as an option 😭
