That is epic! You have been a busy man building some crazy-flying Area 51 machines. 😂You should make a cheap bungee launcher so you can just focus on the control during launches. I made one for 20 bucks. I think Hobbyking still has the cheap bungee launch kits.

Ok the elevator up for trimming is call "Reflex and is one of the main details of a wing during maiden because if the batwing do no have sufficient reflex in take off will meet the ground, now you got that baby dial now. I'm a Inav advance user so with Inav and auto takeoff this wing will be a dream.

Fantastic work as always, I can’t wait to get my hands on it, I always joke about asking the bank manager and how poor you are making me.. But for one the designs are just so good I just can’t help myself, and two the prices you charge on Cults is so dam reasonable..! In a world of $40+ for the files, your files are just priced so good, and you have made it more affordable for everyone. Thank you. Looking forward to getting the batwing and tearing up the Swedish skys. Hope a few guys make the model and get it out on KZbin to help promote you. !! 👌🏻

Very impressive model!! You could always mix down elevator with the throttle advance so it flies level.

Being the Bat Wing, black is or should be a no-brainer. I don't have a printer, and I haven't flown anything other than my Sport Cub, but I would love to have one even just to have it sitting on the shelf until I get better at flying.

No the bumps on the bottom of the wing are for balancing with your fingers. What issue are you having

Would this be suitable for a novice flyer? I used to fly an e-flight Ultra Stick but crashed that miserably. I have all the parts which I can put into this - best of all I 3d print a lot. I'll do this in ABS or PETG. Does it have lift or is it just pure power keeping it in the air?

The batwing is definitely an intermediate jet. Yes it has an actual airfoil and it flies like an RC jet but also has flying wing characteristics so it’s definitely intermediate. It uses a 50mm EDF doesn’t the ultra stick have a propeller? Sorry I haven’t purchased many planes

@@hotlapkyle Ultrastick is prop. But since I can print as many as I need, I guess I can just keep crashing them until I get there. Buying on Cults now. We'll see how it goes. I've never printed an RC plane. Lots of other 3d models I've made in Fusion360. So cool! My goal - get good enough and FPV it.

Where I live, it's too hot for PLA. It would just deform almost instantly. ABS or PETG for me.

Thank you so much. If you have the money I highly recommend getting a Bambu P1S. It makes the printing sooooo easy. I don’t think I’ll be printing and shipping them unfortunately as my printers are always running for new designs. Where do you live? I’m sure there are people that can print the whole thing for you locally
