The way that thing just gracefully leaves your hands. There's no fighting to become stable. Like throwing a dart! I am a sucker for smooth surfaces though. Sure it's just a prototype. Also love the EDF's with more than 5 blades. Less of a screaming me-me and more of a woosh.

Fantastic work. The Horizon team had an edf Aeroscout at Jet Jam five years back. They attached the edfs to the bottom of the wing. It looked great but I like how you’re doing it. Zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA

Nice looking rig, I was literally just about to hop into Onshape and start messing around with a design like this and up pops your video. You beat me to it! Looks like it flies pretty decent, even better once the turning direction issue is sorted. Can't wait to see more videos on this one.

A great idea to create a wingsuit flyer in this way. Thumbs up. Maybe it would be better to place the aileron controls on the wingtips somehow. Like rotating surfaces (same like Fighter jet elevators). Then the sensitivity around the longitudinal axis may be easier to control. In this case, the combination of aileron and elevator so close to the longitudinal axis may be too sensitive given the small span (aileron on the tail). Holding the model at the tail when dropping it is also not so convenient. Perhaps a small "grip" on the "belly" of the plane in the area of the center of gravity would be more beneficial and could also serve as a small protection during the landing. Great job. Keep it up. The wingsuit flyer will fly one day. I feel it. Good luck. Greetings from Germany.

Here is an example of drag rudders for yaw stability and control that I made. In this case the drag rudders are also the ailerons and they are completely closed in normal flight, they only open when needed to stabilize and control yaw. An explanation of the controls starts at 4:18. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6S0qXp_ZryIfqs

@@RDM-RC fork bambu. They've started forcing you into their ecosystems which is the type of thing that ruins hobbies. I assume the safety of the ccp lol

It's a fun hobby, but you can't go into it with the plug and play mindset... I guess RTF would be a better analogy in this niche. It's gonna take some time to acquire skills. There's a lot of frustration in the beginning. There's a lot of great printers on the market that make it easy, but I'd do lots of research into bambu as they make a great printer, but have chosen to be anti-consumer in recent times, and that's only guaranteed to be furthered in the near future as that's how any big company seems to be going. a
