How ironic. Mother and son are psychopaths who tortured Beth and took Beth and Kate's mother's head and both were killed by Beth and Kate, the sisters who suffered a lot from that. Talk about the prey becomes the predator and the predator becomes the prey.

The thing that broke both the sisters was knowing her mother's destiny, up until that point Beth had resist everything and kept her sanity, and Kate kept control dealing with him, but as soon as they knew what happend they reacted, not really as prey becoming predator but out of pain

I highly doubt that. I think Alice sees beth as the little girl who was afraid of her own shadow scarred by her captivity while Alice is the dominant persona who doesn't let the fear of what if let her from doing what she pleases
