Bauer Hyperlite Goalie Pad Review | WATCH BEFORE YOU BUY!

Bauer ultrasonics are excellent. Im sure the hyperlites are great too, they just sit a little shorter due to the the different boot angle. Bauer durability is vastly improved and the performance in terms of slide, stability, rebounds, and pad rotation can compete and rivals pretty much every other brand. I would recommend them for athletic and high performing players.

I had a bauer supreme trapper for about 2 months and I felt the same way about it, picked up a brians gnetik and its so comfortable, i like the break,, havnt had problems with stingers, I love it.

Looking at getting some, from what I’ve heard the reason they feel smaller is because the boot is flatter angle than ultrasonic etc. How much smaller would u say they are compared to a the 2xs would you say they feel in terms of five hole coverage??

That makes sense. I definitely don't feel any difference in the five hole coverage. It just feels like the sit a little lower on my thighs. So far I haven't had any major issues with five hole coverage (knock on wood).

I’m still rocking on my Bauer supreme nxg blocker and v7 blocker. I love my blockers and that I have a set of v9s the blocker is pretty awesome. I’m the opposite when it comes to Vaughn gloves. Some of the Vaughn gloves that I have worn didn’t suit me. Till a found my Vaughn 590 break style. Which is why I do like some of Bauer gloves. Great video by the way.

@@adamleininger1387 Though, something I have started doing is wearing a baseball bating glove underneath my vaughn glove. I do get quite a few stingers and wearing the glove underneath pretty well completely removed the stingers!

I'm 6,2 in a Xl ultrasonic with the sizing of the pads if I went to large vapor it would be way too much of a difference?

Wow, could you possible undermine yourself anymore? Firstly, the Bauer Hyperlite pads, done up lose, have a wide open leg channel. Secondly and moreover, if you think that the Bauer Hyperlite pad has a tight leg channel then what in the blue hell do you think you’re going to get with a Vaughn V9 pad? Indeed, it is trite to say that Vaughn has the tightest and deepest leg channel of any pro pad on the market. For this foregoing reason alone, your entire review loses credibility and I implore no one to give any weight to this myopic and unfounded review. Ps. The background music is vexatious and you may want to lose it or at least change it up.

I wouldn't expect someone as myopic as you to be able to discern and otherwise comprehend this notion. Lets now talk about actual opinion from my own use. If I wanted to put turds on my legs I could do so for free and wouldn't have to waste two grand on a pair of SLR 3 pads (the "S" manifestly stands for shit IMO).
