Bauer's 3D Skate Lab Foot Scanner and Fitting. Sizing Adam for a pair of skates using the scanner. Moving forward Bauer has change their sizing from a D and EE to Fit 1, Fit 2, Fit 3 for Supreme and Vapor. The Bauer Nexus skate is now discontinued.

Not sure if I can get excited about having my feet scanned for: width, length (left&right not the same), heel width, heel depth, instep/arch height, volume (ankle&instep)....and then handed a pair off the wall. Is that really custom? I don't want to bore with detail but: hockey skate fit has been pretty well unattainable my entire life in hockey. My problem: flat feet, wide at the ball, narrow at the heel, extremely low instep, narrow ankles..just can't fill a skate, the result of which is having to tighten the skate to where the lateral lace length accross the tongue is short/narrow. The results in restricted forward ankle movement. The best I could ever do was to: buy D width and have my toes jammed into a narrow ball/toe area; bring my foot up off the bottom using foam insoles + the "surefoot arch support insole". I have even gone to the extreme of glueing an extra layer of felt on he inside of the sole. An ounce of physics knowledge will tell you that all these issues can't be rectified by "skate baking"; me and my wallet were sucked into that one. Lastly, I need a skate primarily with less sidewall or upper height. Narrown heel and wide ball would be nice as well. I would pay anything to get that. SIGNED 1BOXOM

So the fit scanner gives its best choice based on all your foot data. It’s up to the sales associate to make sure that choice is the best for the customer. We have definitely had customers that didn’t leave with what the scanner recommended. The example in the video is not custom. The scanner has the capability to do custom, but it’s not what we were highlighting. Baking a skate is a great option at the high end and is free if you purchase skates from us. If you are having that many issues with fit you might want to try a CCM FT2 because of the one piece construction. That and they have a 90 day guarantee. If it’s still an issue you might just have to go full custom which both Bauer and CCM offer.

Yeah John it’s been pretty frustrating,I been playing on broken feet and I got a bunion on my left foot with my toes squashed,My left foot is 6.5 after D almost next to E pretty much in the middle but my right foot falls right on size 7 and it’s not only half inch longer it’s very wide like right below end of EE,I tired a size 7 in fit 3 in supreme And the fit was very nice on the left but as soon as I tried on the right my big toe and my pinky toes were rubbing on the sides that Bauer scanned machine is so misleading they first recommended me in 6.5 EE “ extra wide” my feet don’t even get inside the boot in Bauer vapour”,then second time a size 7 in Bauer vapour double the width EE “extra wide” if a supreme fit 3 can’t fit my right foot and it’s wider how can bauer size 7 EE fit me in vapours,if the supreme size 7 EE don’t fit my right foot “the fit 3 vs supreme EE are bigger And wider by such a small little difference,putting you’re hopes up on a bauer 3D scan will give yourself a false sense of hope,I tired size 7 fit 3,I tried a size 7.5 in fit 3 and I had so much space when walking,They were huge,especially my left foot,my ankles were being pushed on a angle because I couldn’t even stand straight in a stance

Not sure I understand all of that but if your feet are that different you may need to go custom. Lots of options out there so do some research and if I can be of any help let me know.

Custom trues have the best fit if your feet are shaped kinda weird

Can I have your email address Just purchased a bauer supreme in double EE and my right foot is touching on the boot on the side big toe,I developed a bunion in the left from Ccm ribcore in size 7.5 D width in the past My feet scanned and it is between 6.5 and 7 Plz help

too big will create blisters from rubbing exessively. too wide will feel similar but it will also have pressure points because there are gaps and the boot is tightened up which hurts. you'll know if its too narrow right arrow, the pain is immediate and you the toes touching the toe box is a personal preference. some people like their toes curled some like a little touch, and some can't skate if they touch whatsoever. good luck im having the same problems and currently shopping for vapor 3x or jetspeed
