Oh, I wish I could have joined you. Do you mind if I tell you a canoeing technique? This will avoid the changing from right to left etc. when you paddle, turn the paddle and push slightly out from the canoe. This will keep the canoe in a straight line and you don’t have to change hands. I’ve portaged with a canoe for years way up in Algonquin Park in Northern Ontario. Oh how I miss it. Well, I hope you understood my explanation. It takes a bit of time and practice, but it will Make for a more enjoyable experience, plus, you will go at a faster pace. Happy canoodling. 😊

@@BaumGrillinzBBQ In Turkey, kebab masters generally use lamp legs meat to do shish kebab. It is marinated with olive oil milk onion water and add seasoning. It stays in marinade 1 day then they grill it on charcoal

Just got this Weber too and I'm a newbie at it. If you wouldn't mind, do you prefer briquettes over lump charcoal? How long after your chimney is lit do you put it into the bbq? Much appreciated!
@BaumGrillinzBBQ
@BaumGrillinzBBQ 4 жыл бұрын
That’s great! You will enjoy your new grill! I like both briquettes and lump charcoal. If you are going to do a long cook I prefer briquettes as they last longer. Lump charcoal is great for really hot and fast cooks (Searing steaks) but really it’s whatever is available and affordable to you. Either one is great! Try them and see what you prefer! As far as the chimney goes, you are looking for a little bit of white ash on the top layer of the charcoal. Maybe 10-15 minutes. Hope this helps!
@michaeldavedizon6695
@michaeldavedizon6695 4 жыл бұрын
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ Cheers! Thank you for that info. Lastly, how do you make the charcoal burn longer? Is that a vent configuration or do I leave the top on or off? Let's say, if I'm going to cook wings...
@BaumGrillinzBBQ
@BaumGrillinzBBQ 4 жыл бұрын
Your welcome! Yes just adjust the vents to keep the temp lower and leave the lid on! You may want to do an indirect cook as well. So put the charcoal on one side of the grill and the chicken on the opposite side so it’s not over the coals. This creates an oven effect. Once chicken is to proper internal temperature you can put them over the coals to crisp up the skin a bit. :)

It’s a 1980 something 16ft Coleman Gold Medalist Ram-X canoe. It’s a great canoe for what I like to do. It’s a pig as far as weight so can be a bit difficult to transport. It’s darn near indescribable though and they last forever. Still tons of them around. Hope this helps!
