Just a few corrections. Your buddy got the Jalapeno and Smoked Brat not the Oktober. The "spicy mustard" you got was actually a sweet mustard as you realized. Your server Carly was busy serving other guests and is a sweet girl who works her tail off. Unfortunately I cannot speak for or defend all of my coworkers as I'm well aware some don't take their jobs seriously and will send out a bad plate. I apologize for the poor service you received but hope you'll come back and give us another shot. Thank you for the compliments on the appetizers as I probably cooked your pretzel.

Hey Brandon, I am sure you work hard and this by no means a personal attack, but a 'German' kitchen that serves JALAPENO should be burned down with a flamethrower. That is to me like if you would have an 'American Hamburger' in China, and you would find a thousand-years egg on it as a topping. Greetings from Germany.

And I get that frozen fries aren't your thing but my family owned a resturaunt and it takes such a load off when you can just throw some in the fryer, yeah I know they're not the tastiest but look how big that place is, there is no way they can keep that many potatoes cut, even if they could they would probably have to hire a few people just for that job lol. I actually ate here recently and will have to say the review was pretty spot on. Appetizers were great (I had the pretzel too and with how good it was I was very excited for my meal) but the rest of the meal was so bad. I ordered the fish and chips and it was bland beyond belief, I identified with the temp level of mostly everything you had because my food was crazy hot when I first by into it, and my server treated us exactly the same. Spot on review really! Was excited for this place but sadly disappointed.
@fernandaparra48977 жыл бұрын
tom jones You're kinda right.. but food preparation shouldn't matter where I'm at - the food was poorly made, simple as that. Plus also, I ordered the fish and chips because it was highly recommended to me by the waiter. If I "should" have ordered something else I would expect the waiters to be a little more knowledgeable on their menu and recommend something more authentic.

@@lennardusyoutube8505 It's most certainly not. To be precise, this recipe comes from the USA, specifically from New York. It is a special non-kosher sandwich of Jewish-American cuisine in New York City. Other sources say it was invented in Nebraska.

@@lennardusyoutube8505 We're talking about very different things. Pumpernickel may actually come from Westphalia, but it has nothing to do with Reuben bread, especially since so-called Reuben bread does not even exist in English. By the way, there is no ruben bread either. A Roggenbrot is called rye bread in English, a pumpernickel simply pumpernickel. The name Reuben is actually a surname.

This is a HofBrauHaus, not sure why it's named differently. For those claiming this isn't authentic German Food, the recipes and cooking methods are exactly the same as in the original in Germany! Unless they were bought out by this new owner, but this was a HBH for sure. Or if not, it surely copied the concept.

@KathleenAlexisxx7 жыл бұрын
kitty friend actually the waitress just doesn't know what she's talking about. The owner opened a Hofbrau Beer Garden in Florida after he made a bet that if his close friend could quit smoking they would go anywhere he wanted to. He successfully quit and chose Oktoberfest at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich as his prize. After they all had a great time there they decided to open up their own Hofbrau where they lived. Much better story then what she was making up. Bavarian Bierhaus is his second restaurant and the Florida restaurant is rebranding to Bavarian Bierhaus, after being Hofbrau Beer Garden for almost a decade. I've worked there for years and thats how I know all of this lol
