I decided to not remove the clutch boot. I used a Zip tie to keep the clutch up so as not to put stress on the boot. Be careful about is not to put any stress on the clutch rod when removing and installing. Since I was doing the job all by lonesome without a lift I used a movers dolly with some scraps of wood to crib up to the bottom of the transmission. This made it very easy to slide the transmission off and onto the guide pins without putting any stress on the clutch rod and input shaft.

The K11RS is quite similar. The rear main seal requires a special tool to form the seal into the correct shape. I would purchase the Clymer manual and an oil-proof clutch disc from Siebenrock ($250 here). Follow the video and use the Clymer manual for the 16 valve variations and you should get through it just fine. Enjoy. You have a great bike, Chris

Hey Chris, and others, Thanks for the videos. I got to my clutch today, but the pushrod (running through the center of the clutch) was very long and hard to get the transmission off past, especially with ABS. I didn't see that rod at all in your video: I have a 94 k75, is it different on my bike? any suggestions for getting the transmission back on around that super long rod?

Chris....i have k1100rs 93 model (uk) got the leak from the weep hole where the clutch cover is. Will this be the engine seal thats gone and if so , can it be changed i. Situ? Got to change clutch too but never worked on k bikes. Do i need clymer manual or are the excellent procedures on your videos the same procedures as the k100 on this video. Dont fancy leaking over 500 quid in repair bills. Enough bloody leaks on the bike...thks chris
