Thank you Sylvia for your emotional & supportive reaction. IU & V’s acting along with IU’s beautiful & incredible voice that sings with emotion grabs you right off the bat. “Love Wins All”, when two hearts & souls enter twine to become one, are different from everyone else & together face the world that wants to put them in a box that fits “society”. This song & MV has such a deep & beautiful message that closed minded people need to open their hearts to. I remember when V was a guest on IU’s Pallet. Their true friendship, teasing & chemistry was so adorable & pure. Their voices on that show blended so well together. At that time, if I remember correctly, V talked about wanting to act in a sci-fi movie. I am so happy that IU & her crew allowed V his wish through this MV before his enlistment. Girl, I thought I was done crying over this vid and then I clicked on this!!!! No one is blaming you for the meltdown, especially ME. I am a granma ARMY (63), and have been lucky enough to find someone to spend my life with that I feel this exact way about. Yes, it's a silly romantic notion, but it's true. We all need to keep seeking THIS our whole lives if it takes that! I am getting closer to an age when I think about the possibility of losing this person I have found, and it's the hardest thing to contemplate!!! I love that this video shows us you don't have to be old to lose the Love of Your Life, and when you have it, you better hold on to it tight. I became disenchanted with American media a few years back. It’s so poisonous. I told my daughters I was unplugging from it, and my oldest daughter suggested I start watching K-dramas and listening to K-Pop. I laughed at her, but she twisted my arm. It only took one drama to convert me to Korean television, and it only took one IU song to persuade me I’d been missing out on the best music on earth. When we sat down together to watch this music video on our big screen, I had the same reaction as Sillypak. I bawled, then rewatched it 20 times, and each time I ache the same as the first time. That is what defines a masterpiece. V is amazing. The song is already legendary. I couldn’t function the rest of the day, lol. I imagine there are millions of sobbing fans around the world in equally bad shape. We all have to choose how to face the sadness of mortality, and love is the only way to live and die with grace. This song captures that truth perfectly and nobody on earth could have done this better.

Such an impactful video, with a powerful storyline, outstanding movie direction, great vocals of IU, and most importantly, the top-tier acting of Tae and IU! Their interaction is perfect! I too hope one day they will star together in their own kdrama 🤞 I've seen some comments wondering why IU didn't just ask her irl boyfriend and talented actor Lee Jong Suk to be her lover in the mv but I think the reason why it's Taehyung (and this is just my own speculation) is because of what he said when he was on her Palette show. Some says that IU is deaf and others says that Tae is deaf but I think the 2nd option makes much more sense for me because if you notice in the video she’s always the one leading him to places while escaping and telling him where to go and she’s the one entering the place first to check if it’s safe and he’s behind her and she seems very protective of him, also in the first part in the video she taps him to get his attention so all of that will make more since if he’s half blind and deaf . 💜💜

I instantly remembered the KISS MV when you referenced it lol Actually, the camcorder isn't showing flashbacks, it's showing them their dream world that they can't have because of their reality, like IU is singing in the wedding reception, but in reality she can't. Both their characters have disabilities where IU is deaf/mute and V is half blind, the cube (society) are unncessarily cruel to them, just like how it is in our reality as well today. In the end V tries to fight off the cube, which could be used as a metaphor for oppression/discrimination, it fails and they seemingly just accept fate, but it's ok because in the end they still have each other and that's really all that matters.

Sooo much chemistry! Such a moving song. They have to make a movie from this MV. I got the sense that she’s been protecting him from a lot because of his disabilities, but their love is so strong they’ve been able to survive. I too think Tae is preparing Army for more diverse roles BUT I also think that ALL the members are preparing Army for the real life roles of a "family man" as they enter into the chapter where they start to build personal lives with a family of their own. One Army said she realized that the wedding photos will one day be a real thing and it was a wake up call for her. I think she is right as some of us are sooo ready while others just don't want to go there (you will have to eventually).💍💍💍💍

OMG I've been dying and patiently waiting for your reaction. I cried so hard watching this at 8am in the morning lol. They both did an outstanding job. Tae is blind in one eye and IU is deaf/mute. Watching Tae act again broke me because it just brought back memories of when I watched him in Hwarang and I just made me fall in love with him even more. He definitely needs to act more when he gets home from the military. IU was magnificent as well. Her voice was so angelic and emotional. With her voice and their acting broke me and I will never get over this MV.

I will NEVER look at that Suchwita tube the same way again!!! I need the full story, a complete movie on this beautiful yet tragic love!!!! I know IU wrote this for her fans....so my guess is Tae represents her fans who can only see a part of her life (hence the one blind eye)...I feel the sign language is reflective of how artist and fans communicate in that if you are not a part of the fandom....you won't get it! I know some have said it's about people who are marginalized BUT it clearly shows the "evil cube" does not discriminate as it destroys an entire city (maybe all humans everywhere)...That evil cube could also represent the media, toxic fans / haters whose shenanigans seem endless.... I am not sure what the criteria is for having a short films to play in movie theatres as the rules may have changed but if HYBE / BIGHIT/ Edam could get this in theatres as a short film, wonder if it could qualify for Oscars 2025 short film category....just a thought.

Finally im waiting for ur reaction gurll. I love the MV so much, beautiful song and voice from IU and Tae acting was so good AAAAAAA. I cried everysingle time i watch the mv and apparently the crowd in the wedding scene is actually mocking them, pointing their fingers, trying to destroy their happiness, criticizing them, and booing. Thank you for taking the time to fully engage with this masterpiece. A week ago I wouldn't have imagined I'd watch a 1 1/2 hour reaction. That was before the release of Love Wins All, which I have watched over and over. Cannot believe the quality on all fronts. I agree with the suggestion that this should be nominated for an Oscar in the "short movie" category. I have wasted a lot of time on movies that didn't touch me near as much as this short film with no dialogue. I appreciated your comment about how when IU wiped the crumbs off Tae's face, he doesn't move because she's done it before. The way he looks at her when she approaches him to do that is just one of many moments in which I marveled at his acting ability. Can't find any wedding bell emojis, this will have to do: 🔔💜

Yeahh, i'm sure she wasn't able to speak and he wasn't able to see through his right eye. One of the most beautiful mv i ever seen (if not the most). The song is just gorgous. Her voice... for me it's the best female korean singer. She just ate every single time he sings. With her vocals, tone, emotions while singing, everything. And she's a great actress as well. And V, what i need to say 😄 During this mv he proofs his acting talent. By far. They are not remembering their moments, they’re imagining it ,these moments didn’t happen in the past, it’s happening now but when they see it through the camera they see in as happy moment and everything is fine, even the wedding didn’t happen before and in reality the dress is full of blood and tons, they are just trying to escape the reality 😢😢
