Bay Bridge Trail tour (Emeryville to Bay Bridge)

This is a POV biking tour of the Bay Bridge Trail in Oakland, California. It starts at the Bay Street Mall in Emeryville and ends at the foot of the Bay Bridge. The ride is fully off the street once you get to the trailhead across from IKEA.
Future videos will return to Valencia, Spain and cover some new cities, such as Santa Barbara, CA and Portland, OR.

My favorite bike trail! If you continue on the trail, it goes under the eastern span of the Bay Bridge onto Treasure Island. Warning, the bike trail into Treasure Island is incredibly steep. Riding down the trail is not recommended. Walking your bike down is the way to go. Also, there is a ferry that runs from Treasure Island to the ferry terminal in San Francisco, with plenty of room for bicycles/E-bikes.

You could risk parking at IKEA. The Bay Street parking garage is safe, but not free. 210 Burma Rd is 5 hours free and should be safe.

Where can you park your car when biking to the bay bridge?

If you are doing the trail to the bridge, then I would park at the Bay St parking garage. You might be able to park for free at IKEA, if you want to take a risk of being ticketed or towed. There might be some parking near Horton and 53rd on the street for free, near where the video started. You can also park at the base of the bridge at 210 Burma Rd, right next to the trail.
