I saw them at the fox theater in Atlanta in 1976 at 12 years old. There with my bestie Susan and screaming our heads off in our roller gear.ahh what fun.

The Rollers grew up after they left Bay City and Les behind (It was fun at the time) Unfortunately as the Rollers they were not promoted properly Too much history to remain angry and glad they made amends at one time, before Les passing. R.I.P. Les

Glad to see that Les and Eric patched things up before Les passed away. They were an awesome part of my youth, so very glad to see this interview. These women should have been replaced with people who knew something about the band and its history. They were clueless. lol. I'm thinking of putting a vintage poster of Eric up in my house just to see if anyone else notices. :) I'm single so I can do what I want. :D

This interview is from 20 years ago, around the time of their millennium reunion concert.

Orlando Bloom would've been a great choice to play Les in a BCR movie....if it had been made 20 years ago. He's the first face I thought of who looks most like him. So Courtney Love bought the rights for a movie so where is it? It was never made.

I must have been at college when this happened! Have no recollection of it!

To be fair, they should have got the money due to them because they did at least earn it.

A lot of it was blown on bad business deals like hotels etc. That said, McKeown was worth £1.5 million when he died.

It happened a lot back then , managers ripped off the groups and pocketed most of the money. I just watched the small faces story and their manager ,which incidentally was Sharon Osbourne's dad, ripped them off bad ! A lot of those groups were just too young at the time and didn't question what the managers did with the money and they were just happy to get the fame and girls at the time lol

They weren't the first boy band. That was the Beatles. I always wondered why people thought the Beatles were so great and BCR was considered lame. It's just that the Beatles were first.

So can I curse out Courtney Love for failing to get a film made about the BCR?

They were robbed of their earnings by their managers and record company : they were just naive 16 year olds, and the sharks just ate them for breakfast..🤮😳🤷🏼♂️

Why does England rip off American tv all the time
@ufochris11 ай бұрын
You don't think England had chat shows a long time ago?? AND they have the best one, Graham Norton! And as for ripping off , it's usually the Americans that do that and it's usually worse... One exception that made it big was all in the family, yes ripped off from a British show. Countless others but 2 I can think of offhand ,that were way worse ,the American version of the Office and the American version of Broadchurch 👎
@brendalg44 ай бұрын
I am American... I know lots of shows we have ripped off. Do other countries rip America off? I know others rip off America's Got Talent. I don't know which country had the first talk show.
