Am I right in thinking some American young cheerleaders made this chant up and performed it for my true loves just after they played on some TV programme? I certainly don't remember it being chanted in England. ( And if you're interested my favourite was Derek - I worried that he would feel hurt by the fact that he was not the girls' favourite. I think I could have saved him. )

They never got paid for their concerts in their youth, yet they came back for US. I can appreciate that. Wish Eric & Derick could have joined them. Woody is always a "scream" !!!! W,as in the tent from 6pm. This band was oozing crowd atmosphere, crowd abundance, crowd numbers, crowd excitement/enthusiasm, more than any other act on that stage this night. But what struck me was the joyous sound, non repetiveness, not boring listening, generating from the stage during the time The Rollers were on that stage. One can be not into the band, but one could not say that the music they play is dull in ten feet high letters. Cos it certainly is never dull. The music that comes from any stage the Rollers with Les stand on, is over the top Happy music. Hard to be down listening to what transpires from any stage Les stands on.

My future husband... well, about forty-odd years ago. I recently found out that some of them were molested by their monster of a manager, Tam Payton. It's what sent Derek and Les down their respective dark paths, although I know Les was also very damaged by the car accident. He and Woody were so very, very young, weren't they? I was still such an innocent little girl at their age...TP was a horrible man, right down there with Jimmy Savile. (Quick spit into the loo, please do excuse me.)
