I have to disagree with Barr if you don't have the word DJ in your logo it's hard for people to know what you do. It's easy for us as we know most of Barr's followers are DJs so he is reviewing DJ logos and not a different business. 23:49 Dawson High I thought it was a high school... My next question will be so what do you do. Having the world entertainment can mean a lot of things like a face painter, clown or a band to name a few. So having the world DJ in front let's others know we are in the DJ "Entertainment". Hope this makes sense to anyone reading.

Oh also: Content idea: review DJ's websites. For example, on your "Services" page: under each picture it says "View Example", which isn't a good CTA (call to action) - say something different each time, or at least use language thats a bit more conversational and less stiff. That is a minor thing, but what isn't is when you click on one of these links, as it takes the user out of your website and to KZbin. Video examples should be embedded in your site so people don't have to navigate between sites. The above was found in 20 seconds on your site (Home page - Services - scroll - click "View Example"), so it wouldn't be hard to do this segment too!

Best advice: hire a designer. Especially if you think you can make your own logos. If you aren't a designer, and you don't use Sketch at a pro level, you shouldn't use whatever images you'd make at a pro level.

My 2c. If I was hiring based on logo, I'd hire DSM. Their logo suggests a confidence that they don't need to try too hard, it feels established, clean and professional. As far as names are concerned, I think 'ear force' is brilliant :).

Yeah it does look more like a mixtape logo more then an actual logo logo but for some reason this logo has been working for me both with mixtapes and bookings. Of course going to work on an upgrade but this logo actually was made by my graphic designer out of the blue and he sent it to me and it worked on my business cards, brouchers etc... Definitely going to upgrade for sure though...

Yo Barr, thanks for the feed back (Ear Force Entertainment). Honestly it was not done by a pro, it was done by me in Inkscape and no Graphic Art training at all. You mentioned you are a GA .. Maybe we could work something out for you to polish up my logo... where can I contact you to work out those details?? But definitely NOT a star... but I do have another idea or two... hope to hear back from you (email).
