Bayern need to sign a replacement CB ASAP and Kompany needs to start Palhinha, to improve on the defense. Palhinha was a BEAST all pre-season games. No idea why he dropped him and started Pavlovic. Quite surprised that Kompany chose Upamecano and Kim over De Ligt. But Kompany used to be one of the best CBs in his era so I'm sure he knows what he's doing. @dglpm4802 I did some study on Minjae, and why he is struggling in Bayern compared to Napoli. The key difference is the tactic. In Bayern, the defenders have to join the attack. However, in Napoli and other Italian systems, it is very back heavy. If Minjae goes aggressive to intercept or disrupt the opponent, immediately CDM drops to Minjae position, and also other defenders less likely join the attack. In Bayern, the full back plays inverted, and so it leaves Minjae and Upa at the back. The problem with today's game is Sasha was very offensive, such that he was out of position. Even the 2nd goal, as a tactic there must've been an agreement between Minjae and Sasha that Minjae will pass it to Sasha, but Sasha wasn't looking at Minjae and thus trapping Minjae to pass it back. Although Alphonso Davis didn't seem to do anything, his defensive position was great today. Thus, there was no successful attack from the left side. In all, Minjae is a good defender but he needs to go somewhere else where he fits and succeed.
