Cajun Song by Gin Blossoms is in the key of A Major. Either they played an A Accordion, or they managed to play a D Accordion in its fifth key.

Hi Evo, thanks for your content, it was really enjoyable. I was looking at a Honer single row in C. The accordion doesn’t have any stops but on the bass side it has 5 buttons the 5th button being the 4th chord (F). Do you think this would be suitable for playing Cajun style music? Could you think of any limitations that would need to be considered?

Hi, There are so many different kinds of accordions! It doesn't sound like the usual kind that people use for Cajun, but that doesn't matter. What would matter to me is if you like the sound and the way it plays. That means you have to be able to try it. --e

got me a 100 dollar one on ebay but the key broke in a day of playing.
