I installed a DV6 from KR and it also had a 31mm speaker and I too was very underwhelmed by the speaker I personally think a fully inclosed 28mm speaker sounds better, like you said it sounds good but not as good as I thought when I turned it on definitely the last time I get a 31mm speaker saber.

This lightsaber is awesome and so huge as well it’s almost a long sword or a Zweihänder because of using two hands for both said swords otherwise it’s awesome 🤘🧡⚔️

I just got my Baylan Skoll lightsaber Just recently from saber armory. There is a KZbin short that talks about the pommel being stone added by Ray . Also the the sound vent holes have to line up perfectly if you want the sound to come out right . I had noticed this when I was timing the D ring and saw that if the pommel is turned slightly you can close off the vent holes.

I’ve seen that! I think his suggestion was a stone but they went with hammered steal is my guess. Good call on the vents, I didn’t check that before I hammered away, now it’s seized where it is lol but very luckily my vents were only off by a couple millimeters. Isn’t the hilt HUGE?! Like I knew it was big, when I first opened the box I was still shocked just how big it.

@TheBrodalorian Yeah , I got large hands and they look small compared to the hilt. They got everything dead on this hilt. I haven't weathered mine yet.

I'm just getting started on my Baylan costume. I'm not sure if I want to go with the Saberbay ELF version or the KR version. I did their Creepy Uncle and liked that one. So maybe.
