They absolutely nailed the weathering, it's perfect. I am however disappointed that this only has one button, and the shape of the top silver part shouldn't be round but lemon shaped. But it's a great budget saber, most people wont even notice that stuff.

Woah that weathering is superb! The emitter fits so perfectly with the overall design. I really enjoyed the Ahsoka series and Baylan was such a vital character who literally stole every scene he was in! Great review 👍

I like how they used classic sounding saber sounds The activation, hum and deactivation is identical to maul's The swings are heavy razor like sounds similar too anakin's saber sounds in ahsoka The deflections are more rare CW and video game blaster and deflection sounds

I thought his hilt was just a tinge noticeably longer than most others. This doesnt give me that initial feeling of like "wait, is his hilt a built longer light a viking long sword hilt". But the weathering is amazing. The detail is wild

I am 100% a fan of the weathered look! For all the reason you mentioned, plus it adds a touch of realism. I like the idea that the weathered saber has a past, a history, that it has been through a lot!

Baylan is my favourite from all new characters introduced in Ahsoka. There is so much mystery about him. But it is sad that we won't see Ray reprising his role. And I think what Huyang meant that Baylan lightsaber was unique. Just look at it. Is it Jedi weapon? Hell no! He based his hilt on Sith designs. Also based on scene when Ezra builds his third lightsaber, it seems that ribbed section is made of multiple single energy cells stacked one on another (that cagain changes in canon entire schematics of how power cells look), so more power cells means more powerful blade. And Baylan's sword has that section really long so it has a lot of power send to blade.

I have this hilt, plus his apprentice's both weathered, but not from this vendor. Yes, it's not 100% accurate to the actual hilt used in the show, but both hilts are fantastic. Ray did a superb rendition of Baylan Skoll and I wish he was still around to reprise his role in the future. I also have the UW version which is more faithful to the show, but it's not weathered. It does use 2 buttons for power and aux though. Plus is a bit longer.

I have the UW one and it is phenomenal. It’s more accurate at the top since it’s not rounded and angled out like his. However the weathering on yours is the chef’s kiss. Definitely my favorite to take to Batuu now. Good stuff man! 🔥🤘🏽👍🏽

I have a version of Luke's lightsaber and when you talk about color of the blade not showing up the same on camera I can imagine it's frustrating not being able to show as intended. Orange on my lightsaber is a deep rich orange color. You don't see the orange yellow color until you point a camera at it.

Ha ha, I finally discovered that keeping the Saber on the floor with carpet actually helps bring out the color for the camera. That’s why so many of us make short videos of all the Sabers on the floor. Lol thanks for watching.

I enjoyed the series but truly enjoyed the Baylan character. I was disappointed in CFX not being able to get a truly blood-orange color like the proffie can, but that just means that my next saber will be a proffie :). I wish Artsabers made this in a 2 button configuration but it still looks like they did a great job overall. Great video as always. Keep it up and I'm betting you hit 200k by Christmas next year.

I hear you bud, but I think the length and width are pretty average for most Jedi. Any thicker and the Sabre is hard to spin or hang onto. The one Saber I can think of that was longer because the actor was super tall is Qui-Gon… that one is definitely a unique design 👍🏻

Great review. That weathering does look pretty good, better than what they seemed to look like at the first release. I have the first run of the Xenov3 and then I got the Ultimate Works version when that came out. It is more screen accurate. You know how much I love Ahsoka! They are all my favorite characters! 😍

I think you’re asking why don’t I check out more sound fonts during my reviews? Mostly because all of the Sabers, I have the same soundboard have the same exact 12 or 15 different sound phones. I also try to keep my videos a little shorter to help keep everyone’s interest up 👍🏻
