Regardless of your opinion on the overall series, Manny Jacinto as The Stranger was a highlight. He and Lee Jung Jae as Sol were some of the best parts of the show, and both have badass lightsabers. Im definitely copping both neopixels as soon as I can.

The intro and welcome section of the video is pretty much how I felt about the show and stuff. There was some stuff I was like eh on but ultimately in the end I did enjoy the show and I loved the lightsaber duels! The Wookie Jedi! That was awesome! I've seen a lot of people complimenting the duels. I think the work they did to make those fights look so good is super inspiring! I wish I could duel like that!

I definitely loved The Acolyte in its entirety. As of me claiming Jecki Lon as my all time favorite Star Wars character, and her lightsaber and lightsaber skills are amazing. Dafne Keen was perfect for the role of Jecki. I was hoping she would become a knight at the beginning of season 2 if it wasn’t cancelled, but her death was the most tragic for me like I felt it.

Perfectly honest. Ahsoka's main hand & offhand from The Clone Wars are my favorite set. That being said, that coupler should be better to lock them together. Going to ding them for that, but overall, that's a pretty inventive way to join them together, to make them easier to separate. Also have to ding it for the complex way to get to the chassis. I understand why they are made that way though. Going to hold purchasing for now though. I just received my Marrok hilt from UW and well, exhausted my funds for this month.

To charge the shoto you don’t have to unscrew everything. All you have to do is turn it down the middle and it unscrews in half. Only if you need to remove the chaise then you’ll have to unscrew a big amount.

Thank you for what you said at the beginning. Star Wars doesn't have to be so controversial. Acolyte wasn't really bad or anything, it just also wasn't great - but that's okay. I definitely would have kept watching if there had been a Season 2. Of course, Qimir was the most interesting character! Still, though. I think Disney cancelled it quickly though because of an overall shift away from so many D+ shows. They are trying to pivot a bit. Cool saber too! That was one of the coolest parts of the show. I think Hasbro is still releasing a Stranger helmet too - those would go well together!

I like the saber a LOT! The two-piece concept and level of drama it can provide inside the storytelling is amazing - which is why it was sad that the writing inside The Acolyte just couldn't pull up on the stick fast enough to make it endearing to audiences.

Yeah, same thing here. Most likely they cancelled it so soon due to the sheer amount of backlash that came from it instantly. I do wish it fit better into canon, but on its own it was a pretty fun show. For me I just was confused by the retconning and changes to the timeline it caused. The vfx, acting, and filmography was great though, and the action sequences were super epic

Yo that kyberphonics bundle is so worth $20- its 8 characters. Legit if you just want good sound fonts for cheap its perfect. Qimir and sols fonts are dope. The only fonts i wasnt a huge fan of was vernestra’s. But 100% worth the $20 go get it

The saddest thing about "The Acolyte" being cancelled is that we won't see more of Manny Jacinto's fantastic performance as Qimir, who he performed all the stunts for, even under the mask. He and the actor who played Sol carried the entire series and should have been the main focus of the series in a "No COuntry for Old Men" styled series.

There are many reasons we won't be seeing any more of The Acolyte, but for what it's worth - it was simply "not renewed.". Cliffnotes version of why I thought it went away: -- Bad Writing --- Paper-Thin Characters No One Can/Wants to Relate to -- Short & Choppy Episode TImes -- The "...But There's Lore & Lightsabers in It SO It's GREAT" Factor -- Impossible to Create a Legacy with What Was Created (ready to have your daughter "wanna' be Osha/Mae? Tbh it looks very cheap and standard made even if you get 2 sabers in it, neopixel itself is nothing special anymore so the hilts could be better. Lets see what other saber companys will do with it.

the reason for cancellation was its low audience it had the least amount of viewers. In my honest opinion I'm kind of glad not for any political nonsense but I felt the writing was just bad and I hope the money they save can go to another Star Wars writer that can do some good with it.

I'll echo what many already said here. I wanted to like the show and give it a chance, but I will likely never watch it again. One good part was the villain's light saber which is why I like this review. There were a few other parts, but by and large the show failed because the story was just not very good and kind of clunky. Qimir was an interesting character, but he was overpowered especially if he was a failed Sith apprentice given the way he took out so many Jedi and the Wookie Jedi too easily, at least by appearances. One Jedi commits suicide - something I don't think is a great concept for a Jedi and especially troubling given that kids likely watched the show. There were also head scratching motivations for the characters, like Bazil's interference with Sol trying catch Mae at the last second. I will add that liking or disliking this show does not make one a poor Star Wars fan. No one should be blasted for liking the show and no should be dismissed as a bigot or misogynist for disliking the show. That is the political side of things that most of us don't care for.

It was canceled cause it was a terrible show, period. I watched the first three episodes and then checked out. twin sisters, supposedly separated as children. And live different lives not knowing each other was still alive. yet they both look the exact same right down to the style and length of hair years later. A Jedi master is downed by a tiny dagger in the upper quad of the chest. After we all watched kylo get struck across the face and chest with a light saber. Then later impaled by one, yet he lived. Fin literally gets struck across the back and spine and lives on. But a Jedi master can't take a butter knife to the chest. And don't get me started on that stupid lets all make a baby ritual. I don't see many of these sabers being sold. Least not very quickly anyways.

Just to get ticky-tracky on ya - Mae and Osha did not have the same hair length. Mae had to cut her hair to pass as her sister. I think that some of the rest of it could be attributed to 800 years of advancing medical technology. I mean, if you didn't like it you didn't, and I get that (I wasn't crazy about the finale either, that's for sure), but those things that you cite aren't really the problem - I mean, inconsistent technology or lack of realism is inherent to Star Wars. The story though - yeah, I get it. There were some good things in ther, but they got lost in some dreadful pacing and lack of proper ending (considering it wasn't getting a second season).

If you are gonna dip you toes in generations of already established and beloved cannon. You need to work with it, not try to skate around it. That path leads to the dark side of the force.

@@robertmask2223 Well, she didn't actually violate cannon - technically anyway. She did skate pretyt close to the edge - but that's not really a problem IF you sell it well. Pushing boundaries can be a good thing, but if you do you better make sure it's really good, and, yeah, it really wasn't. Headland was definitely the issue too. And have nothing against her, but TWO flashback episodes...no, no, no. They killed any momentum the sotry had - TWICE. Again, I would have watched a second saeson, but would have definitely wanted some retooling and maybe even a new show-runner, or co-runner, someone to keep it on track.
