I think it's a reference to how angels were really supposed to look like in old myths. Their marble-like, golden appearances are simply how humanity sees them. Much like how most people nowadays think of angels as pure, holy, and beautiful. But in truth, angels looked very inhuman and utterly alien in their depictions in legends. Especially the likes of the Cherubim and Seraphim, which if I remember correctly, are nothing more but an amalgamated mess of rings, fire, and wings.

A little tip for all Bayonetta players. Holding the attack buttons (Punch and Kick) while using Love is Blue allows you to shoot while performing combos for extra damage. This is very handy so you can cut down enemies and bosses much quicker due to chip.

I'm sure a lot of people don't know this, but when Belief is about to hit Bayonetta at 0:38. You can actually dodge the attack by pressing the left trigger right before he hits you, it will go into Witch Time and you can get your chance to attack it.

Kizur13 In Bayo 1, the reason the cutscenes were still images with voice overs and playing as Jeanne during the campaign while still using Bayonetta's voice was because of budgeting and time constraints. Bayonetta 2's production was also on a tight schedule. In Bayo 2 they just decided to keep the still images for consistency. But this game lacked a few things that could have been added if its schedule wasn't so hectic: 1) Playing as Jeanne with her voice 2) Playing as Rosa with her voice 3) Allowing Rosa to summon Madame Khepri 4) Balder being playable in the campaign with his voice and a few other things that I can't think of rn. So yeah, blame Nintendo's scheduling for Bayo2 being hella rushed. But you gotta admit, even with a rushed schedule, Bayo2 is pretty awesome.

Thanks! You earn halos throughout the game. Then you spend those halos on costumes once you unlock the "Gates to Hell" shop. If you want to unlock the Nintendo costumes, spend 100k halos on the "Super Mirror 64" which unlocks the Star Fox costume and makes available the rest of the Nintendo costumes.

Also terrain is the same in the real world and in purgatorio so if Vigrid is burned down or if a tsunami washes over Noatun in purgatorio, it also does in the real world. Humans just think these are all natural disasters, which is why in the beginning of the game the news woman says there has been a lot of natural disasters but it’s because of the Angels

jai249 This is bayonetta 2 which came after W101 And Kamiya did not make this game, he helped and IIRC he wrote the major guidelines, but someone else directed it. Anyway, the reference is during the final fight against Aesir. When he summons something from a different stage of humanity (war planes, fighter jets giant space station) the third one, the space station is a bayonetta version of the chirogane comet, and Bayo flips it around and throws it back in much the same way as Platinum Robo flipped it around to aim.

Its a lie, he wants to take Loki to Loptr, but not for him to reach the mountain because he would regain all his memories, at least thats how i understand this
