Jeanne always had the infinite dodges in bayo 1 and 2 because moth within is the only thing that can trigger which time

I think I also heard somewhere, correct me if I'm wrong, but Jeanne supposedly only gets witch time with moth within because she only wants to activate it if it risks her life. Hard-core, and I can see why.

If you use Kraken's R special and then use Alraune to grab Rodin while he is being eaten by Kraken, the game will glitch and you'll win quite automatically.

Grab with the R ability for Kraken. As soon as they attack starts use Alraune and grab him. By holding down the attack button. It takes some tries but works. It's how I won.

In every game Jeanne's dodges only work at the last second. The trade off is that she does slightly more damage than Bayonetta's witch time

The ZR plus - is a cool thing that Bayo 1 already had with R2 plus Select, and I'm glad it's back, because as far as I know, Bayo 2 didn't have it for some reason.

With the clocktower trick(and this applies to all demons), you can cancel his animation without swapping demons by holding ZL and then press ZR in between combos, doing it effectively can actually leave you with infinite witch time without interrupting your combos. (You can summon demons while youre attacking, so just quickly summon and press B to get it into witch time, then cancel him out and get some damage going, summon him and do witch time while youre attackin and bam infinite witch time)

Yeah except the game doesn't hide that from you, it litteraly teaches you you can call back demons in the prologue. Too bad most players can't read, that mechanic is insanely useful.

About Jeanne's dodging... I don't think its better tbh. With both Jeanne and Bayonetta if you're going to rely on mashing, you need to mash really fast because if you don't, moth within won't save you if you get hit between the Iframes of your dodges. And moth within can activate even while you're in Bayo's recovery animation. So Bayo isn't really any worse at dodging, but gets witch time more often.

I still prefer Bayonetta. Cause even though Bayo Backflips on the last dodge, this does not make her vulnerable. If you are still hitting the dodge button while she is in that backflip/pose and an attack hits you, you will still trigger your Bat Within which then pushes you into Witch Time.

Good thing they let me buy Rodin's weapon, because I can't beat him. Made it to his 2nd phase but he kept using raging demon. I can only manage to dodge it 1 every 100 times.

Try using The song of baal and the asseeries of Hymn of Durga that will increase infernal demon attack and Clarity It prevents infernal demon from raging it helps me and beat him I wish I the best of luck

Try the glitch. Equip alruna and Kraken activate witch time preferably with braclet of time and have Kraken use its special. On the right before krakens second bite hold punch with the whip. It might take a few trys.

You can try healing with the accesorie that heals you when taunting, it gives you enough health to trigger the 1 hp save, and taunted rodin is literally just the same lol

Luckly I beat Rodin with Tipps from the Internet. Latter I fought and beat him again fore fun with the restriction of only summoning demons with Wink slave, so only using demons as. combo finishers. That was fun to.

Oh, it's a special side mission you get where you fight a special golem boss, it's unlocked by getting 4 parts of a medallion in various stage, you get them from these powered down-looking chests "The first medallion will be in the very first chapter, once you finished Verse #1. Look to your left until you see a small pathway that goes downward, and hit the abandoned treasure box to reveal this first medallion fragment." "During Chapter 4, right after Verse #1, you will have to cross a broken bridge. Keep moving until you get to two pillars decorated with a sun and a moon, next to a cascade. Jump into the higher platform behing the pillar with the moon, and you will find the abandoned Treasure Box with the medallion shard inside." "The third medallion will be located during Chapter 7, in the zone where the portal leading to Ginnungagap can be found. Do not go to the portal, and instead turn to the right until you see an abandoned treasure box beside a door. Hit it until it breaks, and the third medallion fragment will be yours." "The final Medallion fragment can be found during Chapter 10, right after finishing Verse #2. This isn't exactly a gameplay tip, but i just realized that the Luka that's been following us is a Redgrave. Redgrave is the name of the destroyed city in DMC5. It is also the name Dante used during his childhood days to hide after his mom is killed. It's also supposedly the main protagonist's name in that scrapped Resident Evil 4 early design (where they want to have a virus + ancient tech mixup iirc)

Jeanne cannot trigger WT by dodging, instead she only triggers it with Moth Within. She does not have a cool down for dodging. She also deals 1.5x extra damage.

to add from what LichCrypt said, they just have the same attack animations, weapons, demons, etc. except Jeanne of course can’t have Scarborough Fair and Love is Blue and she has Madama Styx instead of Madama Butterfly, but both demons function the same way Jeanne also has no customization options as of yet and you can’t play as her in the story mode except for her side missions, Witch Trials, Devil Rodin fight, and Phenomenal Remnant chapters

1 - back from Bayo1. Great feature I really missed in Bayo2. 2 - cool detail, but useless because of "secret #4" 3 - I really like this option of "git good vs p2w", even if you have to pay with in-game currency. 4 - 1 week ago I made video showing how absurdly broken this is. 5 - just like in every Bayo game. Sadly she doesn't have other costumes in Bayo3. One more reason to hate this game (but I'll keep my final score 4/10)

@@Dengojin I don't care about story. It always was an exuse for action. Gameplay is deeply flawed. For me the only problem with Bayo2 is instantly attacking enemies. But in bayo3 list of problems is humongous

@@sadpug9398 Care to explain? I have a few gripes about the amount of chapter gimmick sections and Viola’s gameplay but I really loved the combat. Bayo 1 will always have amazing combat, but 3’s demon stuff is pretty interesting to me. It’s not nearly as hard as 1 but I don’t really think that’s a bad thing. End of the day, IC in Bayo 1 is a cake walk for me now, that’s combo clip material. And Bayo 3 has plenty of that.
