Remember that the reason Cereza couldn't use the more powerful demons against homonculus without a dangerous ritual is because they didn't come from Heaven or Hell. That likely ties into why she especially couldn't use Queen Sheba against it, along with her being at her limit by the end. It's a really tragic weakness that ultimately destroyed her. But she never backed down despite that...

Baal Zebul's fight concept is phenomenal. It's simple, mind you, but that honestly does it a ton of favours. Reminds me of the final boss of Drakengard (the game that connects to the _Nier_ franchise for those unfamiliar), where you alternate between two different "melodies" in a sort of puzzle to cancel out the incoming attacks.

Let's not forget about how cool the settings of these fights are, especially Gomorrah with Tokyo in ruins and the sky going mad, but my favorite is Baal Zebul. There's something about the way the Louvre is still mostly intact and the lights on the building that fits Baal so well

Only Gomorah, which we knew from Bayonetta 2 couldn't be trusted. The Demon Slave thing works as a gameplay reasoning but in story seems to only apply to Gammorah, the other demons either seem to know what is at stake, or are the primary contracts of their Bayonettas, and if Singularity has their souls then these powerful demon lords don't get them, so helping Bayonetta to defeat him and get their contracted souls back makes sense. As well as noting they mostly show some intelligence or loyalty yeah. Heck Baal and the others had no issues fighting the humunculi, its just the traitorous Gammorah, which as soon as I saw that was the final one in the last battle instead of the Bayo BFF Madama Butterfly I just felt it was going to go badly.

I like the demons, Baal from the beginning was my favorite. When I saw jeane get destroyed and we didn’t get her microphone I was devastes thinking we couldn’t keep her. As much as I like them though, I also miss the last battles where we had to basically dismantle big bosses. It was like small bayonetta versus skyscrapers but we still won. Jumping on their backs and destroying them piece by piece. I feel like if this is your first bayonetta game, you think it’s incredible and don’t get why people who started from the beginning or have played them all weren’t as satisfied.

Her REAL heart is the thing on her chest, as revealed in Bayonetta 2, that is the actual heart of an umbra Witch. The demons require severe levels of magic and blood on order to achieve their ultimate forms. A high level spell that needs a catalyst, so the physical heart is the best tool to do so. It's insanely painful(obviously) and takes a severe level of skill. But as long as that thing on her chest is intact this isn't a killing technique.
