@@alex_quinnzel1071 exactly 😭 but now in 3 I don’t know if her wicked weaves are any stronger than Bayo’s but her Witch Time is a millisecond shorter than Bayo’s. Really feels like she was an afterthought 🙃

Wow. I really THOUGHT Jeanne and Viola would have some kind of advantage over Bayonetta. What are they doing to these characters to make them stand out?? it's pointless to even want Jeanne playable now if her Witch Time is harder with no reward!!!

@@Cerzich Hell, even Bayo 2 did her dirty 😂. Her body just keeps slimming down which isn’t an issue when it comes to people with smaller bodies but Jeanne had a bigger bust and butt size in Bayo 1 compared to Bayo 2 & 3!

@@Cerzich she has the same stance but she isn’t as skinny as she is here same with bayonetta to an extent like they both have no shoulders he thighs onto ad thick as their calves. They need to go back to the bayo 2 faces and bayo 1 bodies

Ah damn i thought it depended on how ‘perfect’ you dodge/parry was-‘cause w Viola especially, witch time seems to vary drastically when i parry at the right moment vs when i parry too quickly/slowly. But they really said, Jeanne, since you have powerful masquerade attacks we’re gunna take some of that witch time duration away from you, thank you ma’am, hand it over🫴 has she not sacrificed enough⁉️😔

One thing that disappoints me with Jeanne is a lot of her challenge/reward is lacking in this game, her stronger weaves aren’t a thing, she doesn’t take increased damage and her witch time (In 2 this was a thing) doesn’t last longer. I’ll still play her over bayo when I can but I just wish her risk reward was still there to give you some actual incentive to play her (the fact she doesn’t get to use the sf moveset anymore and doesn’t have costumes also plays into this at least for me.

So Jeanne is worthless to play as aside from infinite dodges which doesn’t even matter because if you just spam dodge you trigger bat within unlike in the other games

No? She does more dmg than Bayo and can kill enemies faster. Not to mention, Jeanne’s WT duration stays consistent unlike Bayo’s. So at the end of the day it just boils down to who you like to play the most.

@@NeNe73224 Not necessarily, more opportunities to trigger witchtime works better in bayonetta 3, Bayo is a lot better at using the slave system just bc of how her witchtime works, Jeanne having increased damage isn't an advantage like it was in 2 because in 2 Jeannes increased WTI actually meant a lot You had to run stuff like Evil Harvest on Bayo in 2 to have her keep up similar DPS with Jeanne

In 3 kinda, if you care about slave safety and ease of use, being able to use the slave system as efficiently as possible you'd play Bayonetta over Jeanne and Viola

I loved Jeanne in Bayo1 and 2 but I'm not gonna lie and say I didnt stop using her bc of how much this new system favours Bayonetta over Jeanne, the fact the main story only let's you play as Bayonetta kind of solidifies that fact too (ignoring the story bc Bayo story is pointless past pushing you to the next verse)
