"I want to do better than I did, not better than them" that's a good one. Never thought of it that way.

Lessons from this lecture - Iblees said that he is better than Adam (ALS) since he is made from fire and Adam (ALS) from clay, which lead to shirk. As it is Allah who decides who is better than anyone among us and we don`t have any basis of comparison. * Don`t compare yourself with anyone in this duniya as this is not your job to do, your sustenance is in Allah`s hands and you won`t get anything more or less as what is decided. * Comparing in materialistic items as those of clothes, income, cars, home, etc will lead to arrogance which will lead to jealousy and thus this is what Iblees wants from all of us to fight and holds grudges among ourselves. * you are not superior when compared with anyone else. * If Allah Gave you knowledge, fame, money power etc don`t consider it as a sign that Allah loves you more than anyone else. * Since competition is a natural instinct, you need to compare with the person you were yesterday with the person you are today. * Don`t focus on beating someone else but beating who you were yesterday. * If you have thoughts like "why someone else is happy", "Why he earns more than me", "how can he be successful and I am not", then seek refuge from shaytaan and read and recite Al-falaq. These thoughts are popped up only due to shaytaan and ask Allah for help. * May Allah protect us from jealousy and hasad and ask for the success for all people in this duniya and aakhirah as well.

worfoz you my friend are incorrect. Your are sadly misguided. Islam isn’t slavery. It’s the light. Inshallah may Allah guide to Islam ameen.
@worfoz6 жыл бұрын
Your are sadly misguided. Islam isn’t slavery please do not lie, islam means submission which is the same as slavery you muhammedans are abd ullahs, slaves of muhammeds man made god and muhammed hated Trinity because the message of the bible is that we are not Gods slaves, but his children, the people of the covenant, not his slaves like you muhammedans so stop wishing your fake idol alla, it's offensive and blaspheme islam is utter darkness and very evil, you should read and understand your quran, and the bible (where the quran was badly copied from) and stop insulting me, YOU are terribly misguided by a filthy child rapist, who made slaves out of you bastards (which is in accordance with the bible, read about Abram and slave Hagar, the mother of bastard Ismael. And read your quran, surah 29:27 where the lineage of the true prophet is mentioned: Abram Isaac and Jacob, not the lineage of slave bastard Ismael) educate yourself, you need it, you are really ignorant about your own sect
@worfoz6 жыл бұрын
Bible is made by humans quran is a fraud copy of that book, written by Uthman why are you so misguided and ignorant about your sect, muhammedan? there are more lies, errors and mistakes in your one book quran than there are in the 66 books in the bible so read that book and see where your fake prophet stole your fake quran from you really should do something about your lack of knowledge
@abdulrahmant80956 жыл бұрын
worfoz You seem like someone who likes to read and get more knowledgeable but unfortunately you are reading from the wrong resources and this knowledge is harming you more than benefiting you so for your own good i guess you should look at the bigger picture and see all points of view not only what taught to you by people or what you have learned by yourself with all my respect but you are the one who is brain washed and you are going the wrong way.
@abdulrahmant80956 жыл бұрын
worfoz You said our prophet Muhammad (pbuh) " child rapist" First of all what is your clue that is true ?what are your references? was it from old scholars or you just assumed that is the truth based on what you have heard or read ? second let me ask you a question how is it possible for a child that was raped as you say by a man when she was young to be one of his most beloved wives and she become one of the biggest scholars of Islam? wouldn't she hate that man who raped here as you say when she was a child? would she even hate every thing that comes out from this man including his massage which is Islam?! Weird isn't it!

My parents, mostly my father, have always compared me to kids my ages, and even my siblings. I’m 21 now and I’m still being compared to others who have already graduated from university. Now I don’t even want to hear about the successes of others around me because all I can think of is my fathers constant and endless nagging. And even when I do something that I’m proud of and worked really hard for, it’s never enough for them. I’m just so tired of it all and have been honestly considering just dropping out of college. But this Khuthba has made me feel a lot better. Jazakallahu Karin ya Ustaad

It’s been 4 years now, but I relate to you a lot and I think everyone does, it just makes it harder to do things when you are already having a hard time, I hope you were able to push through and Finnish college and I hope your parents have stopped comparing or at least it’s gotten better and lesser though it’s highly likely not

I feel the same way I’m 12 and I want to become a hafiz and go to a all Muslim school but I am very scared my parents will say no I have cousins who have become hafizs already and I feel like they will compare me to them yesterday I asked my mom if I could go to an all Muslim school bc I want to learn more about Islam and there are a lot of haram things kids do at my school and I want to move away from all that but she laughed at me and asked me why I was copying my cousins ( they go to an all Muslim school) I became very upset bc she was not taking me seriously and I did not want to copy them actually I was thinking about this before they went to an all Muslim school so it really hurt me that’s when I learned only allah (swt) is my friend

Assalamuamaikum, Ustadz Nouman, I have ever told you that you are the only one person that I want your possession. I have never wanted anybody elses possession.I don't care about their spouse,their children, their money and treasures,or their job/bussiness, even i never envy about their appereance given by Allah SWT. You are the only one who I want yours which is your strong relationship to Qur'an. I have never wanted to take it from you, because I love the lectures that you explained to us. There is also a group of people who always says: there is a sky upon sky to me which they mean is not to be humble, but to always compare ourselves to other people and compete them (in a wrong way just like an example in your lecture). So, i have never heard them ( and thus they think I'm arrogant) because I'm agree with you about the right competition you mean and not to compare to other in an envy way. .Alhamdulillah, that you and many other Ustadz around the globe have teached us to improve ourselves to be better by a guidance of Allah SWT in Al-Qur'anul Kariim, so I've got many lessons to know my mistakes and change it to a good way. I don't care anymore about the people who always only like and happy to make fun to other people in a bad way and angry if they are being corrected about themselves. I found thats because many people don't have a good connection to Qur'an. Im happy and so grateful that Im having a good relationship with Al-Qur'anul Kariim (thats because of you).I know that I will still find many tests, calamities and difficulties (this world is a test place,isn't it?!) in my journey with Al-Qur'anul Karim, but insya Allah I will be guided by Allah Subhanawata'alaa through Al-Qur'anul Kariim. Jazakallah khairon katsiron Ustadz, may Allah Subhanawata'alaa always gives many many blessings for you and your family.

4:55 This is because Qabil did not find his wife as attractive as Habil's wife, and wanted to marry her. However, it was forbidden to marry your twin (Habil's wife was Qabil's twin sister). He became jealous of his brother Habil. They went to their dad, Adam (pbuh) and their dad told them to offer something to Allah. And that is why he decided to kill him. Habil had a better looking wife and Allah (swt) accepted his offer over the offer of Qabil. Subhana'Allah. Allah knows best.

Great lesson! Now I worry about one thing: sometimes one may wish something bad happens to someone because they have experienced, or wittnessed, that one person being mean, or not being fair with someone. It's like you wish Allah s.w.t do something to punish that person, and you ust wish it is something bad. So is it that same desease? Wishing a person is punished for something bad they have done to someone else, because you would be wishing something bad for that person.

It's so bad that, jelousy is a big problem in our world today. From primary school we began to be jelouse of kids getting better grades, wearing stylish clothes, parents having cars, and then we moved on yo college same things but now with most biggest problem in our siciety is social media, we post ourselves to see who has more followers and likes on our haram pictures. As this is becoming more popular in girls society is to reveal our bodies and not to feel guilty. Satan is doing a good job (sarcastic). Men are becoming more lost and have more intrests in watching videos. This world needs to stop and understand that one day we are going to fail I'm humanity and becoming nothing but a waste to Allah. Thank you for your work for helping us to remember who we need to become ❤️
