+Bayyinah Institute : The fall of Satan and rise of Adam Scenario mentioned in the Quran is an eye opener which majority of Scholars fail to comprehend, let alone the common Muslim. Adam was made of clay - the one thing that made him rise above others was God's Spirit. Satan refused to obey Allah's command to prostrate to Adam as he was blinded with pride & arrogance and failed to see the Spirit of God in Adam and we see Iblis get into a physical comparison (He is made of mud and I of fire) . Iblis is cast out of Allah's presence and vows to mislead mankind - all those who follow Satan and refuse to prostrate to Allah's Spirit are called "Progeny of Iblis".in the Quran. The similitude of Jesus with Adam is that of "God's Spirit" but many like Iblis are blinded. Allah Talah being totally opposed to idol worship was NOT commanding the angels and the ginns to worship the clay Adam but "HIS SPIRIT" which "HE" placed in Adam but Iblis failed to realize this and it resulted in his exit from Allah's presence. Surah Lukman shows us that knowledge higher than physical nature brings one closer to Allah - Do you 'Ustad Nouman Ali Khan' possess this higher than physical knowledge. A Muslim is one who surrenders his will to Allah as such the very first non-Muslim was Iblis and all those who fail to prostrate to Allah's Spirit are the "Progeny of Iblis" according to the Quran - kindly make your audience aware of this fact - my friend.

Now Iblis should have been more honored by Allah for not prostrating to an Idol but when God inquired from him the reason for his refusal - he came -up with this physical argument that he was made of fire and Adam of clay. We at times get caught up in our own superiority complex and fail to understand Allah's kalimah.
