Ohhhh Two days ago I was reciting surah Al-Fath and I felt compelled to reflect on the msg given in the surah particularly in relation to the season of Hajj.... I didn't realize I had a Nouman Ali Khan thought. What Ustadh calls a "psychedelic thought"...I am glad I was on the right track while reflecting on the surah but I've much more to learn through this series In Sha Allah. لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله Here's a beautiful verse from the Quran that emphasizes equality and rejects lineage-based superiority: "O mankind! We created you from a single pair, a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other. Verily, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well-acquainted." (Quran 49:13): "يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ" This verse highlights Allah's creation of humanity from a single pair, emphasizing our shared origin and equality. This is my note from this class: In every society or country, there is a clear power structure. They include Money, Political power, and religious power. Most countries are run by them, either by those in power or by people with money who in turn runs the politicians. In the older generation, religious churches had a similar power, they used to teach people the religion and told them to donate to the church and pray for their king or queen. but in the newer generation, religion is becoming irrelevant for the new kids, they are not as pious as their older generation. The power structure changed religion and placed it with the media. Mass media or social media started influencing our society constantly feeding us with their agendas or messages. When our Prophet (SAW) came with the revelation of Allah is one, it contradicted the other religions that were believed by the people. When Muhammad (SAW) came with the message “ **La Ilaha Illallah”** it created both religious and political problems for the people from that time. The religious problem was that the message clearly says that all other religious verities inside Kaaba are false, they can’t co-exist with there’s only one God. Every other religion at that time was okay with the co-existence of other religions. But Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is coming with something that doesn’t accept any other idols, it doesn’t compromise any other god except Allah. Prophet also claimed that the Kaaba was never meant to be a temple at all with all the statues, it was made by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) for the worship of one true God, Allah. The political problem that was created by the message was that Islam is coming and saying things like we all are children of Adam (AS) and all children of Adam (AS) are honored, all of us are equal. Tribal superiority became a serious problem with this message. There was also an economic problem. As Kaaba was a center for many religious idols, it was a great economic route, where people would stop and offer their religious acts during trade fare. From Yamen to Syria, from Asia to Europe, many traders would use Makkah as their trade route. Prophet's (SAW) message of one God meant that all other religious worship in the Kaaba would stop, and that would hurt the religious feelings of all those who used to come there, it would have created enemies with other countries. This class talks a lot about the history which I didn't write.

But never forget your brothers and sisters who are going through the same in Sudan and Congo and the eastern countries, and our homes where families do the same to each other… May Allah Ta’ala free all those of us that are oppressed from our oppressors and grant us a Protector and Protection from Him. Ameen. The worship,of Allah comes first, so make Du’a it certainly changes everything! Jazakallah Khairan for having dedicated your lives to bringing the deen to us English speaking Muslims.
