I’m not religious and I haven’t understood any religions. They have absolutely confuse myself for most of my adult life. I saw something that Made me want to look up the Quran and try and to understand it as I have just felt and intense need to look it up and do it right now. So I did just that and I have just been completely overwhelmed with a sense of acceptance. I’m extremely overpowered with feeling all of my emotions all at the same time!! Thank you so much for making these videos. The way You have explained the reasons behind parts of the Quran has massively helped me. Asalamo alaikom, something i really want to clarify because i find it important is that Muhammad PBUH didn't escape because of fear or anything like that. One of the attributes that ALL prophets have with no exception is COURAGE. Prophets were all very couragous, and the fact that he had to leave from his homeland was because Allah swt ordered him to do so. Not out of fear. Please this is important to know.

The Hijra is such an important moment in our history that the Islamic calendar begins at that moment. The Prophet PBUH didn’t flee, the Quraysh were plotting his murder. If a bus is about to run you over, you move out of its way, not stand your ground. Standing your ground as the bus is approaching you is not courage, it’s insanity. Courage is something the Prophet PBUH was not lacking. Abu Ishaq reported: Al-Bara’, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “We would, by Allah, seek protection by the side of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when the battle was fierce. Verily, he was the most courageous among us who confronted the onslaught.” This is courage.

Please help. Assalamualikumussalam warahmatullah. I am from Bangladesh. I am 23 years old male and I want to keep my hair long as per sunnah instructions. But my parents are constantly forcing me to cut my hair according to society standards, ka'jha which is also forbidden by Prophet Mohammad (Saw). I tried to make my parents understand that I am not doing it for myself but only for the sake of Allah and the love of His messenger but they don't want to listen. I am a student at an university and doing a part time and though people look at me in weird ways but my hair is not hampering my life in any ways. I even try talking with them but they only and only want me to cut my hair because of the society. Now, what should I do? Do I continue with my hair regardless their disagreement or should I cut my hair to abide by Prophet Mohammad (SAW) instructions about listening to my parents? But personally I like my looks on society standard haircuts but I am not doing that because only for the sake of Allah and I am ashamed of Him when I go to barbers. That's why I stopped getting haircuts.
