As a Catholic Christian, this man is doing important work. Too many times I've encountered Muslims who are ignorant of their own Qur'an. They can recite it from memory but cannot tell you the meaning or the tadabbur as he puts it. It's important that you know your Holy Book so you can defend it properly without becoming frustrated. So glad this topic was brought to our conscious awareness. Those who focused primarily on Tadabour ended up divided into Sufism. More self reflection and soul growth. This is the CHARACTER aspect of Islam. This is the Internal reflection of Self. This is where sincerity and authenticity of being Muslim come from. When not balanced with Tafseer, the danger of this is starting to adapt the Quran to The Self rather then The Self to the Quran. This is how it turns into “mysticism”. Those who focused primarily on Tafseer ended up being more action oriented, but robotically. They are dedicated, loyal, and obedient to the external actions, but lack internal self reflection. When Tafseer is not balanced with Tadabour, it becomes a disciplined habit without being mindful. Inshallah may we all grow both internally and externally this Ramadan. I’m very grateful for this this series, Allhamdullilah.

Hardship of life and after lose of my two unborn babies to long term abuse. My emaan was becoming weak and I started feeling empty and disconnect from the Divine. My salah had become a routine surah recitation ritual, and after every salah I started feeling like I haven't prayed. Your videos have helped me revive my Emaan. Brother Nouman Ali May Allah reward you, your family, your team and everyone who supports you. I have a toddler son and I wish he gets a ustad like you. PS: I don't know if it's right thing to ask here, I have a request to please pray that Allah guide my husband who is going away from his Deen.
