Always a fun and education way of understanding the intricate workings of the Chinese Five Elements and how it works when it comes to understanding BaZi (people and time) and Classical Feng Shui (people and space).
October brings us to the 9th month of the Dragon Year and the LIMBO ("beat") between the Autumn and Winter Seasons. Welcome to the APEX of the Dragon Year! This is the month we all have been waiting for and preparing for and there's a LOT going on!
This Dog Month (October 8 - November 7) is also called The Grave of Fire - Every Element cycle and creature has a 12-period life cycle. And if you can cultivate the virtue of Surrender, you'll do GREAT. "Surrender is a journey from outer turmoil to inner peace." - Sri Chimnoy
August was the preparation, September was about the act of letting go, so October is the decay and burial (or death). This dynamic movement is essential throughout the Four Seasons, which is why honoring and aligning our actions with the cycles of the Season is imperative to maintaining our energy to flow ease-fully and organically. This can be achieved only if we are (i) clear about what to let go, (ii) execute on that action, (iii) bury the old, and trust the process.
