It's funny how BB-8 did relatively well rolling on sandy/powdery surfaces in the movie, but in real life, the poor little guy has such a hard time in the snow, can barely move without a good push or two. XD

Have you tried reattaching the head? The head comes off when the BB-8 has a huge collision, but the head can be easily put back on. If it’s actually broken, try contacting Sphero about it I’m sure they can help you.
