sometimes somebody underestimate those people weak in english speaking, although it's important to deliver the answer during QnA, if the candidate is fluent in english more compliment but if not more insult, but at least Mutya is confident at least she should understand what they're talki'n about and it's the most important like me i am not a clever in english speaking maybe if u can hear me u would say i'm trying hard but at least I understand english fluently (yun ang pinakamahalag dun 'di ka pwedeng ibenta saan k man makarating ung iba magaling nga sa english d naman maganda, yayabang pa..sumali muna kayo sa Bb. Bb Pilipinas-Universe winner Ara is very beautiful and stunning in all angles. She walks very stunning in her bikini and very classy in her gown and that face is a killer - resembles those from Venezuela. My gut feeling is telling me that she will be the next Ms. Universe. A UP gradaute, she is perfect in her oral ability to express her thoughts. No problem with that. She will be a lot bettter than those who cannot speak the language and still recognized in the pageant.

Love how our filipino accent is getting out there. I once met this beautiful chilean and fell in love with how she's herself. Then when heard the filipina here. It is true that you don't need to PRETEND and TRY HARD to speak in English if you really think that you're uncomfortable and you wouldn't express what's on your mind correctly. BUT being ABLE TO is a big factor too. It means that you are Intelligent enough. Let us all admit that being able to speak and express yourself in a foreign language is an additional point when it comes to a battle of brains. And I believe that in a Prestigious Beauty Pageant, It's not only the beauty but the wit as well.

It's called language barrier not lack of intelligence. Her speaking skills are fine. Why won't she just speak in filipino on the day? That way, it'll show the beautiful language to the world. I find that better than using an american accent to represent the philippines.
