An acronym is pronounced (e.g. NASA sounds like "nassa"), while an initialism is sounded out (e.g. CIA sounds like "see-aye-eh"). BBQ, meaning 'barbecue', isn't really either, is it? It's closer to the latter, I guess, but it's more of a stand-in for the word itself, or pre-internet textspeak. Interesting.

I'm a podcast listener but I have come to the youtube to give an opinion. I work in a hotel in Cincinnati, and about a year ago a bb.q opened next to where I work. I've never ordered but I've sampled a few flavors. Can I make it better? Definitely. Does it require a lot of work to do it to make it better? Also yes. It's very good chicken, and at the volume they do, I really like them. I'd give them 4 forks and 2 tines.

"Based on the search results, there are multiple individuals with the surname Mitchell who were slave owners. Here’s a summary: Elisha Mitchell (1793-1857): A geologist, educator, and Presbyterian minister who lived in North Carolina. He was a slave owner “for all of his adult life” and an avowed racist. The Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society changed its name in 2020 to disavow its namesake’s legacy. John Mitchell MP (c. 1781-1859): A British politician who represented Kingston-upon-Hull in Parliament from 1818 to 1826. He was a slave owner, and his family connections suggest ties to the slave trade in Jamaica and the Caribbean. Charles Mitchell: A Washington Territory resident in 1860 who attempted to escape from slavery. His story highlights the presence of slavery in the Pacific Northwest during the pre-Civil War era."

Not too harsh anyone's buzz, or get on the alcohol versus weed argument, but the lengths that people will go through to snuggle illicit substances into Disneyland or other sort of public spaces is hilarious....yes that includes booze in water bottles, too.
