Thank you for this interview. It's nice to get his perspective. I have noticed in the post-season he has sort of become the scapegoat of Turner and Monte whenever they want to avoid responsibility for their own bad gameplay or problematic actions.

Michael is amazing and I would love to see him on another season! I’m glad he explained the whole timing of the Kyle thing. Makes perfect sense to me. I am also proud that he acknowledges his shortcomings in the situation and the impact that it had on ppl in and outside of the house. What a guy! Thanks for another great interview Taran!

The best explanation of why Michael exposed what he did when he did it. No one really knows but him. He doesn’t hv to play the game making all the right decisions and separating personal from game, anymore than the other players did. He’s human as well. Ultimately HE didn’t do anything wrong. He exposed what took place. Glad to hear his POV. Wld like to hear Kyle’s deep dive next.

This is the deep dive I've been waiting for. I was worried that it wasn't going to happen. I enjoyed watching Michael play. Very exciting seeing him break the veto record and coming so close to getting the season win record. The house split twist definitely ended his game. Maybe if he would have picked better he could have overcame it. He also got burned in the double eviction veto. I hope we get to see him play again. His mind for the game and his ability to think so strategically in such a small amount of time during those competitions amazes me. I don't know if it has been confirmed or not but didn't he complete bb comics in the shortest time in the history of this comp? I was hoping to see Michael's reaction regarding this.

Taran, Michael realized Kyle was not on his side and told Brit that Kyle would not look at him and then said on the feeds "I will make them regret the day they f'ed with me and be careful who you piss off bec I've got a lot of dirt on you Kyle. If I'm going down your going down with me and if I can't win this game I will make sure you don't either." The two things I wanted to hear about the Kyle situation going into this deep dive. 1 - Michael had a cam talk (I believe before the veto was played) where he was mad that kyle wanted to backdoor him and said he had dirt on kyle and was going to bury him with it. it was clearly calculated. Not to save himself but to pay back Kyle because Kyle tried to boot him. 2 - Brittany pitched Kyle's "the silent majority" all white alliance to Alyssa. I believe Michael knew that Brit pitched it. It was very explicit and both Mike & Brit seemed fine with it until the DR talked to them. - I appreciated Michael's explanation about impact versus intent so that was nice. Good deep dive. The cam talk wasn't addressed but that's a minor complaint.

I really do appreciate Taran’s deep dives but after 1.5 hrs I have to sit this one out. I’m glad Michael admitted he should have squashed Kyle’s prejudiced thinking in the beginning but I don’t believe he truly understands how much he weaponized racism to further his game. The moment Kyle used all the POC and Black HGs “whys” of being in the game as evidence as they were working together, Michael should have realized that Kyle’s thinking was biased against the other HGs. All the POCs can’t be trusted but all the white HGs should be(Michael included). Kyle would spread this message to the other HGs causing a ripple effect. If Michael takes full ownership in the later parts, please let me know but I need to protect my peace. In addition, I would be interested to see how Black podcasters interview Michael and his responses bc maybe Taran doesn’t have the language to challenge Michael’s responses or thinking patterns?
