This is sad. I have mental illness and Paloma has it too. She went through physcosis in the house. As someone who has gone through physocisis myself I can see it a mile way. No sleep fast talking feeling like she is in a simulation all happen when you go through physcosis. Usually lasts a week then you go back to yourself seeing as Paloma is on meds but being the wrong dose can trigger physcosis too. Glad she got out now she can be on the proper dosage of her meds and maybe going back to the normal dose may cut the time of physocsis she is in by half.

Wow. I never watched live feeds so I had no idea how bad it was. Thanks for posting. After being on benzodiazapines, Klonapin, for over a decade the VA decided to take all vets of of them bc people were dying from even taking them as described. I couldn't sleep for more than 20 minutes a day for THREE MONTHS! It was horrible. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. (Not saying she'd been on benzos, just that sleep deprivation can cause the kind of brain melting I see in these clips.) I'm great now but just the memory of that time scares me.

She could have displayed no symptoms prior to joining the house and hade her episode while in the house. Sleep deprivation is the easiest thing to treat. Wouldn't need to leave the house for mental health

As someone who suffers from severe insomnia I really relate to her sleep deprivation causing delusional behavior. My daughter says I am like a drunk person. I get so bad I will be sitting in my bed having a conversation with my granddaughter who doesn’t live with me. I will even realize I am talking to air and openly argue with myself about things not being real and then go right back into the hallucinations. It’s so sad for me because I don’t know or remember a lot of it so I don’t know how bad I behaved. It’s also hard on the people around me because of course my delusions are crazy to them but also because I can get combative verbally when someone tells that I am not talking to my mother because she died 4 years ago. I get real aggravated that people don’t see what I see. In February I got so bad I went into heart failure because my blood pressure bottomed out. I hadn’t slept at all. None. She was able to get to where she was bc she was getting 1-4 hours which kept her from having a physical breakdown to go with her mental breakdown. Not sleeping for more then 3-5 days can cause serious medical problems. Hopefully she’s getting better now.

@@irondude71 my doctors and I have many are very aware. The problem for me is pain. Pain keeps me awake. The medicine that help you sleep and help with my pain are really heavy narcotics that are worse then the insomnia so I have to manage it the best way I can. I don’t work bc I can’t have a normal life like most people. My whole life revolves around help alleviate my pain and getting sleep even if it’s only 30 minutes at a time.
